Darlene giggled, and that probably is the most beautiful sound she wants to hear everyday, if she had the chance.
"oh yeah. and not just a friend,Alas. she's my Girlfriend."
she's my Girlfriend.
she's my Girlfriend.
Girlfriend...
what Darlene said echoed in her mind and ripped her heart into pieces. she didn't know what happened, but she found herself running so fast to the Terminal, the infrastructure that bore her great-grandpa's family name.
it was still 6:40 AM, and only a few people were there waiting for a bus to ride. there, at the very back of the bleachers...she let all of her fears, confusions, doubts unleashed. she was clutching her left chest as she felt hurtful pinches in her heart as if someone's piercing it like nails.
as people gets thicker at the terminal, one of the attendants noticed her as the Mayor's daughter and brought her at the Terminal's clinic where her close friend Carlotta rescued her.
she cried a river once more as she felt her friend's warm hug. even her Mom and siblings came, and brought her home.
