Audrey's POV
I had my mouth wide open. All the information I was getting from Joshua made me want to explode. Everything was just so much clearer. And I coudn't help but to feel connected to him. He was my brother, and I was willing to fight for that. But Jeremy was my brother as well. He was just as close. If not even more close.
"Listen Josh, I need to call Damon. I'll be right back." I started getting up from the chair. Joshua, who I was now starting to call Josh, which he was completely fine with. I checked.
"Audrey, when I said don't get yourself killed for either of the Salvatore brothers, I meant it." Josh rubbed his stubbled chin. I nodded with a shy smile. I didn't mean to anyways.
I walked through the Grill over to the bathrooms. No one was in the girls room so I went there and picked up Damon in my phone book. I stared at myself through the mirror as the phone beeped. It was clear I hadn't been getting any sleep. Even though I was a vampire I looked a bit tired.
"Ahem, hi. How's everything going with your brother?"
"Hi. Good. I found out that Mikael killed me in my previous life."
"Huh, you don't say. Are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine. I'm really feeling like he's my brother. I have memories of him and he sends me these really good vibes. But I don't think you really like what I'm about to say..."
"What?"
"This means that I'm Katherine's sister. You are dating your ex's sister. Isn't it kind of weird?"
"What? Well one thing I know, is that you are nothing like Katherine. Does this mean you're not a sister of Elena?"
"No, I don't think so. I am who I am now and I remember very little of the life I have lived before. Maybe someday I can squeeze the memories out of me, but today is not the day." I kept a small pause before continuing. "How are things going with you and Stefan?"
"It's going good. Actually, I have to go. Have fun. Bye."
"Okay, bye," I whispered as I ended the call.
I corrected my makeup and hair, and then exited the bathroom. The Grill was getting more and more crowded. I decided we could get out, go to the boarding house. Joshua agreed with a wide smile, one that I had not seen on him. At least I did not remember.
As I pushed the door open and walked in. Josh came from behind me, wary. I turned around and saw him frown when he was able to walk inside the house.
"How can I?"
"I died." With a shrug I turned back around. "Do you want something to eat? A blood bag, maybe?"
"No thank you," he whispered and walked over to the library. I quickly ran over to Damon's bedroom to snatch a bottle of his bourbon. I ran out of my boyfriend's room when I started hearing some noise. With a frown I entered the living room. Josh had put on some music. When I listened more I recognized it was Led Zeppelin.
"Oh my God I love this song!" I opened the bottle and took a drink. "Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear. But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear," I sang with the song. Kashmir by Led Zeppelin was a very good song. Very.
"Me too!" Josh shouted and danced over to me. I liked this side of him. The more fun side. My brother grabbed me by my hand and span me around. Josh grabbed the bourbon from my hand, drinking a good amount of it. A long burst of laughter escaped my lips.
"How are you this fun? I wish I'd remember more!"
"You will remember, and if you don't we will create new ones!"
