Audrey's POV

"Milena!" Katerina yelled at me. I smiled at my sister who ran over to me.

"Katerina. Where is our mother?" I questioned and saw Katerina shrug.

"I don't know," she whispered and looked around the field near our village.

"Good," I smiled widely and took her hand. I directed us away from the flowery field and into the village. "I want to see Kaspian."

"Milena, is this good?" Katerina whispered and tried to stop me. I already saw him. He stood by the market and I waved. He smiled and moved his wavy hair out of his eyes.

"Yes it is," I said and turned to her. "I promise I will lie for you when you want to see Petya. I promise."

Katerina smiled widely and let go of my hand. "You will then."

I nodded and kissed my twin sister on the cheek. "I will."

When I turned around my brown dress span with me. Kaspian created me a glance and with a smirk I curtsied. I started to walk gracely his way. He was so handsome. I wanted to marry him.

"Milena you look... beautiful," he whispered as I got to him. He placed his hand on my cheek and stroke it. "You get more beautiful every day of this life."

I snickered and tried to hide the blush on my face. He turned my face back to look at him.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I gasped and jumped up from the level looking around. Where was I? What was that? Who am I?

"Hey, hey," Damon whispered and grabbed my hands. I frowned. Where was I? He petted my cheek and smiled. "You're back."

I felt different. I heard cars. Why was I hearing cars? Talking, someone was talking. Not Damon. Someone. Who? What was happening?

Ow, my gums hurt. My head hurt. My neck, hurt.

I rubbed my neck and corrected my posture.

"My neck's hurting," I said and looked up. "What the hell," I gasped and tried to back down. There he was, standing like nothing had happened. "Klaus?"

"What?" Damon asked and when I looked back at him, and then Klaus. Wait, then he was gone. I placed my hands on my temples and rubbed them. Was I going crazy. No, I was... I looked at Damon who looked down.

"Damon, am I-"

"You're in transition."

"What?" I drew in a deep breath and looked at Damon.

"You need to feed on human blood..."

"Yeah I know the drill," I said chuckling nervously. "Who's Milena?"

Jenna's dead. I'm dead. John's dead. I was staring at Elena's neck, the blood pumping in it. The pulse that her heart made, that quickened as I moved closer. I looked at her and then I glared down on myself.
