Gus's pov:

I watch as he walks away, his body swaying side to side as both his hair and my jacket flow a bit in the wind. My heart fluttered a bit before turning around and kicked Luz's leg before yelling "DON'T MAKE THAT FACE IN FRONT OF HIM!" It was so embarrassing. "Ow! I'm sorry but that was so cute! You gave your crush your jacket!" She cheered before I quickly covered her mouth. "Don't say that so loudly" I whined, my cheek flaring up. Wishing on a shooting that he didn't hear her cheer at the top of her lungs. "Can we just go, it's freezing out" I mutter as the wind hits my thin sleeves. "Sure thing," Luz said before whistling, and suddenly Eda palisman came flying in before becoming the staff. "Hop on," Luz said with a cheerful smile as she climbed on the staff herself. I quickly do the same, warping my arms around Luz's waist "Hey Luz, do you think there is a way to enter someone's dreams? Matty had a dream today about me but didn't want to tell me what it was about." I asked as I slowly watched the owl house come into view "I don't know, let me ask Eda" she replied before landing on the stone pavement. The staff quickly turned back into a palisman and flew into the house. "HEY THERE LUZ BACK FROM SCHOOL ALREADY HOOT HOOT AND YOU BROUGHT A FRIEND!" Hooty said as Luz opened the door. "Hey there Hooty," I said waving before walking into the house behind Luz. "Your back!" King yelled running up to Luz and jumping into her arms "Hey buddy I miss ya" Luz said hugging King. "Hey, Eda, is there a way to enter someone's dreams?" Luz asked into the empty air. Eda came running down soon after almost tripping on the last step. "No, you can't, but you can go into someone's dream library, why are you asking kid?" Eda answered before going into the kitchen and opening the fringe. "Gus's crush had a dream about him but won't tell him what the dream was about," Luz said, letting King down while he quickly walked up to the couch and took a nap "Did you need to add the fact that he is my crush?" I said my cheek was turning pink. Eda pulled a small box of apple blood out of the fringe and poke a small hole into it, just big enough to put her straw into. She took a long slip before looking over at me "How much ya got?" Eda said before taking another long slip "EDA!" Luz yelled before crossing her arms.

"Fine, fine the first one is free but if you want to go back later you will need to pay up, getting materials for that kind of potion is not cheap," Eda said with an annoyed voice before finishing up her apple blood and throwing it to the side. Making Hooty come sliding up and eating the empty box makes me cringe a bit just thinking about how that would go down. Eda reaches up to a shelf and grabs a small bottle that had a golden liquid in it. "Why do you have that in the first place?" Luz asked as I quickly took a seat next to King. "Because of that little guy," Eda said pointing at the sleeping King, "it's a blast in there," she said with a small laugh as she walked up to me. "Now listen here the dream libraries don't get a lot of visitors so they might be a little excited to see you" she warned before tilting my head to the side. letting one drop of the golden liquid into my ear makes me suddenly feel very tired and dizzy. Before I could say anything everything went black I could feel my body fall to the side.

I was suddenly in front of some golden gates "Oh Titan, did Eda just kill me" I said slumping over in disappointment. "Who goes there!" a deep voice boomed almost knocking me over "Um Augustus" I answered. I could see something tall with a long rope covering their whole body, a hood covering their face. I could feel my heart start to pick up speed as sweat dripped down my spine. The tall figure bends down looking at me, their eyes there just white and glowing brightly while one eye in the middle stayed closed. I watched as it slowly took off its hood, the light exposing a little bit of its face every time before being fully pulled down. "WE HAVE A VISITOR!" the thing cheered their eyes stop glowing but still remind white. Their skin was light blue and had white hair that when past little past their long ears. "I'm the head leader of Mattholomule dream library, it's very nice to meet you. Augustus was it?" the thing asked, pulling out its hand and greeting me. I shake their hand nodding with a smile as relief washes over my body, thank titan I'm not dead. "Come in come in," the creature said before raising both of their hands in the air and making the golden gates open. I run on in, the creature following close behind. It looked like any old library but it had golden pillars and the floors were made out of what seemed to be clouds. There were a bunch of other similar-looking creatures walking around pulling books away and scanning others. "WOW!" was all I could say which caught the attention of all the other creatures. They all looked over at me "Sorry" I whispered forgetting that I was in a library. They all cheered loudly and dropped what they were doing and ran up to me "A VISITOR!" one of them yelled. "I THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME" another old yell in a deeper voice "HE SO SMALL," said another one as they all towered over me. "SILENCE!" The leader's voice boomed, making everyone stop in their tracks including me. "I know you are all very excited but let's not scare the poor boy off," the leader said in a much quieter voice as they stood behind me. The rest sigh and walk away a few apologizing to me as they head back to work. "I'm sorry about that, you are our first-ever visitor," the creature explained, bending down a little. "Don't worry about it," I said with a smile that seemed to relax the leader "Well what are you looking for today? We have romance, horror, adventure, coming of age my favorite, to be honest, and almost anything" they explain pointing to each bookshelf that holds these themes. The shelves seem to go down for miles with millions of books on them "Well I'm looking for your guy's newest one" I explain looking at the thing. My neck is going to hurt so bad tomorrow "Well you are just in luck, that book was just finished and put away in our newest theme" explained before walking to what I could only guess where that shelf was. I almost ran to keep up with it, luckily it wasn't too far. There I saw only one self with a few books on it "Welcome to our wet dream section! know it's small right now but we should be getting more as he grows up" the thing announced with a smile. I could feel the blood rush to my cheeks "um so the newest one is in here?" I asked my heart racing not really knowing how to feel yet, the thing nodded before reaching down and grabbing a book, and handing it to me. "Go take a seat and get some reading if you like, you can check it out," the thing said smiling as I grabbed the book from them before it walk-off. Taking a deep breath I take a seat on what seems to be a chair but is made out of clouds. I slowly opened the book and then everything went white then I was back at school.
