Love complications

Chapter 4

" Did you call me mother? " she said as she entered the beautiful brown room where her mother was waiting for her. " come and sit here Natalie " said her beautiful , fair mother Jennifer , who had bright blue eyes and reddish brown hair. " what's the matter" she continued " how was your trip to grandma's ? " " it was fantastic mother , we saw the beautiful mountains and the barley fields and grandma ! Oh my god ! She was soo happy to see us . "

The time was ticking away .. It had been a long time since natalie had spoken her heart out to her mother . It was a long talk indeed

just when they were about to end the conversation her mother said " natalie , you re a grown up now . Girls like daisy have boyfriends , why dont you look out for someone too "

Natalie burst into laughter !
" Mom you know i' m not that kind of a girl " she said and went away into her room . Obviously that was not true . A young , fair , beautiful and educated girl like natalie would get like a thousand guys , and she would love to date them , but she would equally be depressed when someone would cheat on her , just the way her mother had been cheated on .

Natalies phone rang . It was Tyson again . " So are you ok now ? " he said with a hint of concern . " yeah im ok , she said " . " you know what , mom just asked me to date someone " she said in a funny voice . " ohhh then what about That guy who stares at you during lectures ? " . " are you out of your mind " said natalie with a smirk . " you know im not interested " .

They talked for about an hour and natalie went for a shower. Tyson and Natalie were like siblings . Daisy was not that sister with whom she could share the secrets of her life . Tyson was the only one she could trust.

The hot water over her tired body made her feel relaxed . She sat on her bed with the big fat biology book when suddenly she saw that big present that lay at the corner of the bed .

She took it in her hand . It was definately huge . It had a small note , on which with beautiful handwriting something was written . It read

"Natalie , you have been the inspiration of my life ! I will imbibe your qualities and cherish every moment of my life ; for i feel blessed to have met you

What ? She thought . Was he so mad behind her? She opened up the gift wrapper carefully and saw a huge wodden box . It contained a canvas .

The canvas had been intricately designed with shades of orange and yellow . It showed the barley fields with the setting sun . Just reminding her of that day when she had gone to the field with jason . And then she saw two children sitting on the bench and facing the sunset . The boy in black t shirt and the girl in a white frock . Just like the one Natalie had .

What a masterpiece that painting was ! She smiled to herself and hung it over the wall .
