Chapter 3

Natalie was flabbergasted as she lay down on the soft cozy bed at her grandms house . She could not wait . Things were getting worse day by day. " what should I do " she thought . She rolled in her bed worrying and looking out of the window . She saw the moon . It was a full moon night . The moon was extremely white but as nature has condemned it with those black spots it seemed to signify the bad in every good . She sat up and walked to the window . Daisy was fast asleep. She looked around at the woods . And suddenly she heard some noise . Maybe like someone was walking. She peeped out side the window and saw Jason there . She was watching him paint something in the dim light out of his house . She was figuring out what it was , but suddenly Jason turned towards her and she shut the windows .

The night seemed to be too long . It was cold that night and she was sleeping until lunch was ready . What a lazy bum ! She thought to herself. She ate some porridge in the morning and left for her house with daisy. Daisy was yet in the garden talking with Jason . And Jason had something huge in his hand which he seemed to gift her . Daisy clung to him and said " bye Jason, I will miss u more than anything in this place " . But Jason seemed uninterested . He gave her off the gift and left .

On their way back , Natalie took out the phone from her purse . Thank god she found the network now . And as soon as she was connected to the Internet the first thing she saw was "90 missed calls from Tyson " . " holy shit! " she exclaimed . Tyson and Natalie had been friends since 8 years now . They were the best of friends one could ever find . Without sharing their secrets with each other , they would feel like the world was dead . Tyson was a very good listener and a really good , caring , kind , naughty but loyal friend. He too had a brother Jim , exactly like Daisy. " where were you Natalie I have to tell u so much .." He said as soon as he called . " I know Tyson it has been tough for you but thank you so much for helping me out with this" she said with a hint of concern . Tyson was spying on Natalie's father . It was not easy for him to see his best friend suffer .

" I want to give you a good news ," he continued " first thing is that you have scored a Second rank in med school " . That was like a relief for her . " and the bad news is that your father went to Hotel Paradise with kelly . " . Natalie was in tears . It was true . But what could she do if her dad was cheating on her mom ?

She reached home . It was silent . Then suddenly her mother came out of the kitchen with a bright shinning face and said " Natalie my darling , I'm so proud of you . You know that you came second in you medical studies . My daughter is going to be the best doctor in town " . She turned to Daisy and said " Daisy you should take some inspiration from your sister " . Natalie saw the happiness on her mothers face and thought that how her feelings would rupture when she would come to know the fact . The real fact . The truth . But she did not let her sadness overpower the fake smile on her face . She smiled at her mother and hugged her tightly .
