Love complications

Chapter 5

" congratulations natalie!! " said a group of girls as natalie entered the collage campus . " Amazing work ! " said a familiar voice from behind . Just as soon as Natalie turned she banged into Rick .

Ohh my god ! He was definately the hottest guy in med school . And the best of all , he used to stare at Natalie during lectures.

" ummm Thank You Rick " said Natalie slyly . " So i have heard alot about you " he continued . " is it ? " she said , wondering how . " Tyson told me that ...." He said .

" That you wanna become a gynaecologist " he finished . " ah yes ! " i do " she said with a pleasing smile, and rushed for her class .

The crowd that gathered was huge . They were to be alloted patients . Just to help . Like interns .

The professor was in a clean white coat and huge spectacles . He opened his book and Said " Ok so I want you to go in pairs . Tyson and Tania , Jeffrey and Rosie , Natalie and Rick ..........." And the list continued until all the students were alloted their respective surgeries .

Rick and Natalie headed towards OT 2 . Luckily , it was a Paternity case . The case seemed to have a complication . The umbilical cord of the baby was highly entangled around its neck . But the mother insisted on a natural delivery .

" lucky you " said Rick as he saw the happiness on Natalie's face . " she definately knew the answer to this complication " . They went for a Caesarian and carefully sorted the problem .

" It was great " said Natalie as she came out of the OT after the delivery . " you bet " said Rick with a smug , leaning his head a bit towards Natalie's face.

She could smell the amazing perfume from his shirt . And his blue eyes : definately breathtaking !

Just as they walked in the corridor Tyson and Tania came out . " how was your surgery " Natalie asked , knowing that both of them might have just focused on each other .

That was obvious enough. TYson was dating Tania since the past 5 years . And they were madly in love . all of this seemed stupid to Natalie coz she had never fallen in love . Not even kissed a guy ! Duh ! Jason was an exception )

" let's have lunch together " said Tania and headed towards the garden a mile away from the campus which had an amazing restraunt that served the best fish and chips . Natalie's favourite .

" Rick come join us ! " said Tyson in a playful manner . " um I think I have t-" he stopped as Natalie said " oh come on don't be so shy ! " .

They reached the park . It was a beautiful place . Surprisingly , Rick and never seen this place . As they sat down for lunch , Tyson kissed Tania' s forehead . They ordered for some pasta while Natalie had her fish and chips . Rick called for spaghetti .

The lunch was over and they planned to move around in the garden . Tyson pulled Tania under the shade . He caught her head and brought it close to his . Kissing her intimidatingly .

While Natalie and Rick strolled in the garden . " so you wanna become a surgeon and all huh ! " he said as he walked next to her . " yeah , but you've got bigger plans I see , you want to become a neurosurgeon . That's amazing" said Natalie looking confident .

" I'm impressed " he said with the most adorable smile Natalie had seen . " how do you know so much about me " he asked , yet smiling the same way . " just the way you know so much about me " she said . And both of them burst into laughter .

They spoke for a while and then sat down on the bench . He kept on staring at her red dress and her beautiful eyes as she talked . " So.. " he said softly , " You've got a boyfriend ?" . " Ah ...... No " she said , a bit embarrasse

Obviously all her friends were dating . What was wrong with her? . She was 24 and she had no boyfriend . But maybe that was fine because she had some company . Rick said " Hey , what happened ? . It's ok I am not dating too " .

" What the hell ? " she thought . Rick was charming and he definately was hot . Wasn't he dating someone ? .

They continued talking for a while . They seemed to gel along very well . In their first meeting both of them seemed to know so much about each other . And they kinda started liking each other's company .

Natalie was a young and beautiful girl . She was talented , gifted and talkative . She was perfect ! And Rick , my god he was hotter than the sun , with an extraordinary physique , great charisma and greater kindness . What a combination .

" your damn sweet , Natalie " he said as they were about to depart . " you too " she said blushing . " mind a lift ? " he said with that naughty adorable smile , " I would love it ! " she agreed , and they set off in his beautiful jaguar leaving Tyson and his girlfriend Behind.
