" Time does really fly ! " Natalie thought as a week was over post that surgery . Natalie and Rick had become permanent partners . Most of the surgeries were together , and both of them did really enjoy their company .

It was 2 p.m that day when Natalie and Rick went for lunch at Shirley's . " the surgery was fantastic " Rick Said as he put the piece of fried chicken in his mouth . " yeah it was great ! " Natalie said with quite an agreeing tone .

Natalie had started to fancy Rick . She thought . Was it infatuation? Or was she truly liking him? She thought it was quite early to decide . While she was dreaming about all this Rick interrogated " So Natalie , what does your dad do ? " " he , uh he is a cardiologist " " whoah that's great , "he replied in astonishment .

" yeah " she said , as if she was just pretending to be happy . Every one knew that stupid relationship her father had with Sandra whom he called kelly. " i live with my mother and my sister " . " my sisters 16 and she is in high school , and my mother's a housewife , but she was quite a dancer in her younger days " she said feeling proud .

" I really need to meet them one day , quite a family I must say " and he smiled again . So damn adorable!

" yeah sure . My mom would love to see you . Rick , what about your family " she asked.
But soon she hoped she shouldn't have asked . Rick's face turned pale and he was looking for words .

" uh my father was a chemical engineer . Uh he is retired now, I have a younger sister , she is 18 and I live alone here" he said quite happy with what he could come up with . " if you don't mind me asking .. What about your mother ..."she said in a soft tone , like a whisper .
" my pareNts got divorced 8 years ago so I don't know much about her now . " he said .

Natalie was exasperated . Looking at his face no one would figure that his parents were divorced . " didn't she want you or your sister in custody?" She insisted . " no , she didn't want to take the pressure of the family " .

" strange" she thought as they walked out of the restraunt . " Natalie can I drop you home ? " he asked in a dead mood .

" no thanks Rick but why you wanna go home ? Let's enjoy ! " . Now she seemed to be talking . " I love her " he thought in her mind as soon as she said that . " what you wanna do ? "
" anything you say! "

They went for a movie and straight then they decided to go to the bar . Natalie hadn't been drunk for ages . Rick and Natalie Really got drunk that day

Natalie had really opened up to Rick. She had become carefree , cool and that fun girl which she was before . And Rick could do nothing but stare at her .

" come dance with me " said Rick as he caught her hand towards the dance floor . The song was a slow romantic one , and boy ,Natalie was so drunk that you could say she was nearly in her senses.

" yup why not " she said as she put her hand on his shoulder . Rick slowly slided his Hands over her slim and curvy waist and grabbed her tightly .

Slowly the music began to turn on the feelings in Rick as they swayed their bodies . " oh Rick your so good " said Natalie , half knowing what she was saying .

" yeah I know that " chuckled Rick as he could very well understand her situation . " you know what " she continued " that Sophie was giving me stern and like weird looks because you are always with me " she said in a drunk manner . Which she was .

" is she your girlfriend or something ? " she asked eagerly waiting for the answer " no I don't have a girlfriend " he said hugging her tightly .

"Oh yeah I forgot " and she put her head over his shoulder an hugged him back .

They began driving . Natalie was drunk to her fullest limits . And Rick held himself responsible . It was the most beautiful sight to see as Natalie sat next to him with her silky hair open , and a fair face with red lipstick and a red Dress . He couldn't take his eyes off her .

"Natalie "he said in a soft voice .
" your so beautiful . I ... I love you " . Ahh he said that because he knew she would not remember a thing . They reached her house .

She got out of the car and both of them went in her house . Her mother was sleeping and her sister was watching t.v.

As soon as the door opened Daisy fell in love with Rick . " he is so hot man ! " she gulped her excitement . And then she saw Natalie and changed her mind .

She showed him Natalie's room . He got her up till the room and slowly put her on the bed . He saw the beautiful faint smile on her face And thenher tender lips . Man he wanted to touch them but he was in a fix . "What should be done " he thought . Let me control myself he said and went out of the room .

He reached home and lay on his bed . " I should have kissed her " he said to himself . Just as if some one had missed a great oppurtunity . " no but that would have been wrong I should commit myself to be in a relationship . She is indeed great , I will have to do something " he said and dwelled deep into her thoughts as he shut the lights .
