" she was very scared when he didnt return " she continued as they walked into the lobby the next day .

" what - what happened then ?" He aksed

" then from that day onwards he comes home once in a blue moon , he lies but we all know he has an affair with another doctor in Crimsons Hospital "

" she is a doctor ?" He asked

" yeah , i dont know which doctor but she is some doctor "

" but crimsons pays less than our hospital "

" rick , that lady is there , why will he come here ?"

" why doesnt your mom take a divorce , " he asked in hesitation .

" because he says that he does not have an affair , and he loves us , he can do anything for me and Daisy but he just wants to make stories " she finished .

" oh my good that is massively devastating "

" yeah " she said " and rick i dont want you to meet him , because you know i dont feel right "

" i understand " he said .

They went to the caffeteria . Rick and natalie had the same surgery that day . The octuplets .

It was after an hour .

They sat down , natalie ordered
for a burger while rick called for a wrap .

" natalie , my mother , she also left us when we were small . But she was an ...." But before he could finish both were paged .

" the octuplets " they said together and ran to the OT .

The case was difficult . She had 5 girls and 3 boys , from which one boy had a weak medulla oblongata , while the other girl had a weak heart , one girls lungs hadnt developed and the last boys umlical cord was drying .

" we need a big team here " said Dr. Arnold .

All the specialists had been called . The surgery was tough.

They removed the first baby and kept her in the incubator .

She was a blonde girl . Beautiful . Covered with blood . She was given to the nurse .

Then came out another girl , a brunette just like the father .

Then were the three girls looking very similar to ech other but one had a weak heart while the others lungs werent developed . They were sent to the respective doctors for surgery .

The two boys were exceptionally beautiful but one was safe while the other one had a weak medulla .

The boy with the weak medulla was sent to the other operation theatre .

The mothers blood pressure was constantly rising .

One baby was yet inside .

It was a caesarian . Her skin had been long torn and this baby was not moving .

Natalie , put her hand inside the uterus and caught his head , while Rick pulled him out .

" you saved him " said doctor Arnold patting their backs .

They looked at each other and smiled

Soon the door banged open and the nurse said

" doctor the baby with the undeveloped lungs is dead "

But the greater thing was that atleast the other 7 of the were healthy and alive .

They washed their hands and went for the caffeteria .

" that was amazing " he said catching her from her waist .

She put her head over his shoulder as they walked in the walkway and said " you did a great job saving that baby . You saved a life rick "

" without you finding his head i couldnt save him , thanks to you !" He said

" dont be so modest " she said kissing him on his cheek .

" i love you too " he said
and both of them laughed .
