The Darkness Comes

"Nya. I-I wanted to ask you this for... a long time. Um will you... be my Yang?" Jay asks as he holds up a yin yang token to Alexis.

"No no no. You can't ask like that." Kai says as he goes over to Alexis and Jay.

"Why not?" Jay asks as he looks at Kai.

"Remind me again how I got roped into this? I had things to do at the animal sanctuary." Alexis says in annoyance.

"Because you wanted us to keep quiet about your surprise to Cole to ask him to move in with you." Kai says as Alexis gives him an annoyed look.

"Right." Alexis says in defeat.

"Now Jay watch me. You have to ask with confidence. Like this. Hey Nya how's it going? I've been thinking. You and me. We make a pretty good pair. So what do you say we make it official? Will you be my Yang?" Kai asks as he shows Jay what he wants him to do by using Jay as an example.

"Yes!" Jay says as he takes the token from Kai.

"I'll admit that was pretty good Kai." Alexis says.

"I try." Kai says as he smiles.

"Okay well I'm going to go find Wu. I wanna take a break for a bit." Alexis says as she walks out of the room.

*Timeskip*

"The mural was beautifully done master." Alexis says as Wu nods in agreement.

"Yes. It was." Wu says as Nya, Jay, Kai, and Dareth come over.

"Wow." Jay says in amazement seeing the mural.

"Will you look at that?" Kai says as the others look at the mural.

"It is the history of Ninjago. A history in which all of you played a significant role." Wu says.

"Huh? That looked like Firstbourne." Kai says as as a portal opens in the sky and a dragon flies out before crashing below the monastery,

"Come on!" Alexis shouts as the group run down the stairs towards Firstbourne.

"Oh my gosh! Faith!" Jay shouts as Wu calms Firstbourne before she opens her talons and Faith falls out.

"Are you okay?" Alexis asks.

"Faith what happened? Who did this?" Wu asks as he rests Faith on his arms before she whispers in his ear.

"What did she say?" Jay asks as Wu looks at the others.

"She said a darkness is coming." Wu says.

*Timeskip*

"How is she?" Lloyd asks as he and the others are waiting outside as Wu comes outside the room.

"Will she be okay?" Nya asks.

"I've given her a powerful healing potion. She will recover as will Firstbourne. It will take time." Wu says.

"Did she say what happened?" Cole asks.

"She said a darkness swept over the Realm of Oni and Dragon. She tried to resist it but it grew and grew consuming all in its path. Those who were touched by it were frozen where they stood like statues." Wu says as he makes some tea.

"I was at Kryptarium Prison visiting my father. He said something similar. He said the darkness is coming." Lloyd says.

"Oh that's creepy." Jay says as Alexis nods in agreement.

"But what is it? What is the darkness?" Cole asks.

"What else did he say?" Wu asks as he looks at Lloyd.
