Volume 2 Chapter 1: Movie Night!

Previously: Her body shook violently. Her real self beneath was injected with an addictive feeling of excitement. As her veins burned with desire to learn everything about her father's secret alter ego. She'll do anything to discover everything about her father. She rushed up the stairs and ended up on the rooftop. She grabbed the pack of cigs and shakily lit one up. She inhaled deeply and exhaled with relief. "Ahhh, much better." She shoved her pack of cigs in her sling bag. She admired the view from the top of the school. "Whoa this view is crazy awesome!" She stepped up onto the ledge and used her stickiness to not fall off the rooftop. "My father is a demon, hates my brother, I'm his biological daughter, and is masquerading as a pro hero? Damn my life is becoming complicated." She flicked the cigarette bud and turned around to go explore the rest of the grounds. She made contact with an unfamiliar face. He had silver hair and golden primal eyes. "Just who are you, kid?" She assumed he was a teacher here so she played the innocent and cheerful act. "I'm here because…" Before she could finish she felt something warm in her chest. She looked down to see a hardened blade of blood stabbing her. She took a step back coughing out blood. "I don't really care. I'm starving." He yanked her forward and sunk his thick fangs into her flesh. She began to writhe in pain. The sound of him gulping down gallons of her blood without any mercy. It freaked her out. Both her real self and fake one, was scared of dying again so soon. "Dad…" She muttered softly in distress. Her body relaxed fully as blood streamed down her arm and dripped off her fingertips.

Jade flicked her cigarette bud and glanced over her shoulder with fear in her eyes. She grabbed her phone and leaped off the ledge. "Fuck that! I'm not going to die to a damn vampire! Are all of the teachers secret monsters? I refuse to be devoured alive!" He jumped after her and sprouted wings of blood. "Yes, honey?" She was falling for what felt like forever. "Are you on the rooftop? It's really windy." She shouted out,"Some strange silver haired guy is trying to kill me!" He stood up from sitting down and said,"Wait what? Where are you?" He heard her groaning in pain and the call being ended. A dagger of blood impaled her hand and destroyed her phone in the process.

Jade spun around mid air and smirked deviously at his actions towards her. His eyes widened at the feeling of something warm on his left arm, it was no longer there. He looked back to see her no longer in sight. She muttered on his back. "See ya." She jumped off his back and leaped through one of the glass windows. She rolled forward and then sprinted down the hallway to the stairs. A giant hand of blood just missed grabbing her. He sprinted after her like a hungry monster. She vaulted over the railing and fell down the middle bit. She created webbing and landed on it. She bounced on webbing and landed roughly on the tiled ground of the 2nd floor. She looked back and forth to spot where her father's classroom was located. "I don't remember which way he went. Fuck." She heard footsteps and then sloshing sounds coming from the stairs. "He's coming, I'm going to die at this rate." She saw her uncle walk into view, he was talking to another coworker. Jade pushed off the ground and just barely dodged being sliced to ribbons. "Uncle Zashi!" She screamed out in a panic. He turned to look her way only to see her running for her life.

He dropped his paperwork and pushed off the ground and caught her gently in a warm embrace. He shielded her eyes and ears and shouted out in Vlad's direction. "STAND DOWN, YOU DAMN BEAST!" The blood monster was sent flying backwards by the intense shockwave. The blood slowly reformed and made his body mortal again. She was cowering in his war  and comforting arms. Her grip on his leather jacket and shirt. It made his heart thud up against his ribcage. "Ugh, what's the deal? I was just about to eat my lunch." Vlad approached the two heroes and the trembling tasty snack. "Your lunch is the Lord's damn daughter!" Vlad tensed up at the feeling of his guts turning and becoming tangled. "No way, this little snack is the boss's kid?" "Honey!?" They all tensed up at the sound of Aizawa's voice. He slid down the railing of the stairs and halted at the sight of Vlad. He went to punish him for trying to kill his daughter but then suddenly he was met with a warm embrace. He looked down and looked into her tear filled eyes. "I was so scared. Dad, I don't want to go to a school where I can be killed by the teachers…" His hair began to raise up into the air as his eyes flickered between black, red and gold. "Vladimir…" "He's losing his mind. I don't want to learn about his secrets this way." Jade stumbled backwards breathing heavily. She held out her hands and said trembling,"I changed my mind. Forget what I said. Dad, let's go to the movies?" His rage subsided as his body relaxed. "He must have thought I was a villain or something. Right, Mr. Hero?" She looked back at Vlad King. He nodded his head and went along with her words. Her left hand was dripping wet with blood. "He was just doing his job as a teacher and hero. It was our fault for not informing everyone. Let's stay logical and not get mad. We all learn from our mistakes. So let's just do better in the future." He walked towards her and patted her head, chuckling amused. "You really are adorable. Look at you being so grown up. You're right, he was just doing his job. I'll forgive him just this once, next time I'll…" She grabbed his hand on her head and said,"After today there will be a clean slate. No grudges." He glanced over at Vlad. "Dad! You've got to promise!" His death glare disappeared as he smiled happily at his daughter. "Of course, I promise to forget that this happened. We are back to being great coworkers." She smiled brightly back. "Yay!" She passed out mid cheer. He caught her gently and saw her hand was still bleeding. He carried her bridal style. "You are lucky she defended you." He said this as he walked past Vlad and the others.
