THIRD PERSON
"Rosie street 4/45."
"Roger that, I'm at Rosie street 4/32."
"I'm at /50 now, catching up." Henry spoke into his radio, joining the conversation going on.
Two blue wings cut through the air, hands latching onto the speeding car.
Henry watched in fascination as Featherlight lifted the car up, hovering in the air with it.
"Featherlight's got him." Henry announced into his radio.
"Roger that."
Pause
"The Vigilante? The speedster still alive?"
"Yes. And she is a Hero, not a Vigilante." He rolled his eyes, his tone annoyed.
She slowly sunk the car, putting it on the pavement carefully.
"Hi dad!" She greeted quietly as soon as he put the speedster into his car, sealing the door shut.
"Hi sweat pea. Why aren't you at school?"
"Uhg.. There's this arts teacher, and she just--didn't come in. AND! Our secretary wanted to stuff in the teachers' room, and left us. So now I'm here, beacause I would rather be a Vigilante than just some new girl, who doesn't know anyone."
"Sweat pea, you're not a Vigila-"
"Dad, I have superhearing, and you know that. They know me as The Los Angeles Vigilante." She cut him off mid-sentence, wings twitching with frustration.
"I know you as a Hero. And so do many others. Come here," he embraced her in a bear hug "they'll see it soon too, I'm sure."
She sighed into him, pulling away.
"Thanks dad. But I gotta fly now."
"Alright. You know, back when I was a kiddo," He turned away to open his car door. "they didn't have these Vigilante stuff. When people were saved," he turned back towards his angelic daughter, to find her not there.
The sound of fading wing-flaps pulled the cormers of his lips into a smile.
"Fly, my angel. Make me proud."

MELINDA
"YOU WHAT!? You ditched arts? Why though?" Hope jumped on the mat, her-- chest bouncing along.
I concentrated on perfecting my position instead.
It was hard.
"Protect your face, Miss Singher." The teacher, I couldn't care less about the name of, walked by all of us, giving instructions and advice to students.
"Yeah. Don't know anyone there," I said, swinging a weak right blow in somewhat her direction "plus the teacher didn't come in." I continued, while she deflected it, getting into offensive position and putting space between us to defend herself.
"If you're in offensive position, use it. Especially if you have the time and the possibility of doing so." I told her, changing my position to a defensive one to let her practice.
"Okay, I'll try." She cut the space between us, bringing her foot up into my gut.
I groaned, not expecting her to make actual, somewhat skill-full moves.
"Yeah! Take that! How you like my ninja skills?" She did a mini celebrational dance, while I got up.
"Okay, say, I'm mildly impressed. Where did you learn that?" I raised an eyebrow. She stopped her dancy-dance, and cleared her troath.
