THIRD PERSON
Nicholas awoke in his spacious bedroom.
Surrounded by deep blue walls, he got out of his king bed. His room was heavily themed on blue.
Walking downstairs, he passed his parents room. Soft jazz played in the empty living room, as he walked into the stylish-ly separated kitchen.
Going to the fridge, in hope of orange juice and the pancakes his mother promised to make for breakfast, he was met with a hand-written sticky note.
"Morning Nicholas,
Dorothy will arrive shortly, at 7 am,
she will be making your pancakes.
Have a nice day at school,
Mom"The boy groaned internally, as he thought about spending another day with Dot. There was nothing wrong with the maid; he was just looking forward to spending the day at home, with his parents.
They are both working as very succesful layers. They have met on the job, and fell in love shortly after a few dates.
Downside of lawyer parents; they don't spend much time with their offspring. And Nicholas was well known for that. Just his luck.
Dorothy was shuffling around the house, as Nic sighed.
"Oh, good morning Mr. Martinez! I will get to your pancakes immidietly!" Dorothy chirped enthusiastically, coming towards the kitchen.
"No thank you, Dot. And I have told you a hundred times, you don't need to call me Mr. Martinez. Nic is fine." Nicholas made his way towards the stairs, aiming to leave for school soon.
"What about your breakfast, sir?" She asked after he has came down with his school bag.
"Uh, I'll just get something in the school cafeteria, thanks Dot." He put on his shoes, nearly closing the doors behind him. "Oh, yeah, you can leave whenever, just close up."
"Sir, Ms. Martinez has told me to wait for you to get home from school."
"Yes, and now Mr. Martinez has told you otherwise." They liked each other; Nic always let Dorothy leave whenever she pleased, which she really appreciated. They got along well.

HOPE
Sitting at lunch, we were talking casually.
"So-" Lucas bit into his chicken sandwich, "You think that Featherlight is fighting.. UFO's?" He asked, genuinely lost in Amber's thoughts.
"No, idiot, UFO's aren't real." The twins bickered.
"How am I the idiot? You litterally just said-"
"That she is a UFO." Amber explained yet again, smashing her hand on the table.
"She's not wrong." Liam interrupted all chattering at our round table, as all eyes shifted to meet his.
Realizing none of us got the joke, he sighed dramatically, and started explaining.
"Technically, anything can be a UFO. They are unidentified flying objects. Meaning if I throw a dildo at you, and it hits you in the face before you know what it is, you basically just got hit in the face by a UFO."
