You buried your head into your hands, your fingers through your hair, gripping it tightly. It hit you like a bag of sand, remembering last night. You sat on the bench, can't believe everything you said to him. And the image of Namjoon yelling at you replays in your mind. He stood there tall, intimidating as he yelled with anger flying off his tongue. He has never yelled at me like that. You shake your head in disappointment.
Then, you felt a drop of water fall onto your head. Looking up to the sky, another drop fell on your forehead. I should probably go. As you begin to walk towards the train station, light rain began to fall from the sky but you didn't even care -- the weather matched your mood anyway.
You made your way over to the train station with no Namjoon in sight, making you sigh in relief. On the train ride home, you couldn't believe how stupid you are to allow yourself to get that drunk, exposing your secret. And, allowing you to push Namjoon's buttons.
Once you arrive back to Seoul, your apartment is the only thing on your mind right now. Arriving to your building, the guy at the front greeting you like he always does when you come home from work. The two of you normally talk baseball but he could tell something was wrong when he saw your red eyes. He smiled, waving hello as you walked by. You put up a fake, small smile saying hello back.
Standing in the elevator, your heart began to beat faster and your hands became sweaty. You are desperately hoping the guys are not standing in front of your door. You are embarrassed enough; you could not bring yourself to talk to them.
The elevator doors opens and you nervously step out. I'll just look down the hall really quick and if I see them, I will go right back on.
You walk down the hallway a bit, you peak your head from around the corner to see no one there. Your let out a long sigh of relief, while your shoulders drop down, feeling a bit of weight off.
Walking into your apartment, you feel so happy to be home. Feeling exhausted, you drop your tired body onto the couch, I think I have some wine left. You sat back up, turn the cell phone back on and head to the kitchen to look for a bottle of wine. By your surprise, you still found a whole bottle Jin brought over when the two of you hung out last. You went to get a glass but decide against it, drinking straight from the bottle when you heard your phone going off rapidly. It must be them.
You walk over with the bottle in your hand, picking up your phone. Sitting on the couch, you read all the messages from your friends. There were different messages saying please pick up or where are you and if you are okay. There were many missed phone calls you did not intend to call back right now. With your left hand, you took a drink and with you right holding your phone, you saw a message by Jimin come through.
Jimin: If you don't contact me back, I will call the police to find you.
Y/N: I'm fine. I'm home now. I don't want to talk about it.
As soon as you sent the message, the phone began to ring, showing Jimin's face pop up on your screen. You place the bottle down, taking in a deep sigh.
"Hello..." Your voice in a low tone.
"What the hell Y/N, we have been worried about you. What happened!"
You look at the bottle then tears began to fall from your eyes. You did not know what to say and how to tell Jimin the encounter you had today with Namjoon. Your heart was broken, "Namjoon..." Is what you whimper out, trying to talk through the tears.
"What happened?" He could hear how sad you are, hearing how raspy your voice became. Jimin hates when you cry.
You are trying your best to calm down, to breath, so you can explain everything to him. Once you composed yourself, you began telling him about remembering last night. Then you told him about today, how you have never seen him so angry with you.
"Y/N, I'm so sorry. All Namjoon told us was that you ran away from him and couldn't find you."
"Oh, he cares now..." you scoff, rolling your eyes.
"He always cares Y/N. I just think what you said was shocking to him and didn't know how to process it."
"But he wanted me to apologize...ME!"
"You said some crazy things to him..."
Another sigh leaves your mouth, knowing Jimin was right. Drunk or not, you shouldn't have told him how horrible his girlfriend was, even though you have been dying to tell him. But, telling him you like him was never on your agenda.
"Okay, you're right...." You pick up the bottle to take a sip.
"Are you drinking?" His concern for you intensifies.
"No..." You say trying to make it sound convincing.
"I'm coming over!"
"Jimin, it's okay. It's just wine. I kind of want to be alone right now anyways."
"Are you sure, I can be there quick?"
"Yeah, thank you though..."
"Okay, well call me and I will be there."
"Thanks, Jimin," You both hang up and decide today was enough. You walk tiredly to your bathroom and ran a bath so you can relax. Down the hall way you have photos of your family and friends but there a special spot with the guys. There a bunch of photos from your teen days to now. You look at the photo of you and Namjoon, the same one that pops up when he calls. You took in a deep breath, "I'm sorry," you quietly exhale.
