Falling in love with my best friend-Namjoon

Chapter eight: Almost normal

The next week almost felt like normal because after work you met up with your best guy friends, including Namjoon. The whole gang was back together and it felt like old times. As soon as the guys found out you and Namjoon were friends again, Jin wanted to have everyone over to celebrate.

After work, you went straight there, bringing comfortable clothes to change in because you are going to sleep over. Luckily you didn't have to work the next day, the few rare days off you have during the season. You are excited to sleepover, knowing it's been a very long time since you've slept under the same roof.

When you were younger, before they became totally famous, you would have sleep overs with them. Sometimes, it would start at the dance studio then they would come over to ask your dad if they could spend the night. You would never forget the first time they asked your dad, he was hesitate at first but knew they were good guys, knowing they would never do anything to harm you. Your mom and dad love them so much now, almost like their extra children.

There was one particular sleep over you remember, Yoongi asking everyone who they were crushing on. You had to bite your tongue from saying Namjoon's name. You ended up telling them a friend's name from your class that you did find handsome. The guy's got all protective, "than why did you ask?" you remembered saying.

You arrive to Jin's apartment, seeing all the guys playing video games on Jin's TV. Jin walks over, excitedly yelling your name, giving you a giant bear hug.

"Hi Jin," you say, returning the hug.

"I'm so glad you made it," You hear him say as he lets you out of his monstrous hold. 

You are a little nervous to see Namjoon because the last time you saw him was in your apartment after making out.  You started to text separately from the group chat again. But this time, the messages were way flirtier than before, even before Nuri.

You wave at everyone as soon as you are done speaking with Jin. You and Namjoon lock eyes, making you both smile until Jungkook breaks you out of your trace, "Pizza is on the counter whenever you are ready to eat," he says getting up from the floor, hugging you after you took off your shoes. "Thanks, Jungkook." you smile.

"Jin, can I use your bathroom to change?" you ask once you pull away from Jungkook.

"No, Y/N. You're not allowed," He laughs, he has this one laugh which sounds like windshield wipers. You playfully smack his arm as you make your way over to the bathroom to change. You try to change as fast as you can because of how excited you are. I miss this. You say to yourself, smiling.

After grabbing some pizza and a beer from the fridge, you sat down on the floor between Yoongi and Taehyung. You guys are watching Namjoon, Hoseok and Jin play video games loudly. Jimin is sitting on the couch behind you, opening up his legs for you to lean back. He places his hands gently on your shoulders, beginning to message them. "How was work today?" he asks.

"So long, thank you for massaging my shoulders. I needed it," you say leaning back into the massage, enjoying every minute of it. You really did have a long day and Jimin was so kind to do this.

"Why was it long?" Tae asks looking at you with curious eyes.

"Well, the game seemed as if it went on forever. The teams took their sweet time playing today."

"Oh, that sounds bad. Do you want me make you something stronger than that beer?" Yoongi asks, pointing to the drink in your hand.

"If you don't mind," An exhausted smile appears.

"On it," Yoongi says getting up.

"Why are you so tense?" Jimin asks, you could hear his giggle from behind you.
