Baseball season finally started, working every day, reporting at every game. You have been getting use to the new players on each team and still trying to work with your new coworker Randy. He's really nice, he even invited you back to American to stay with him and his family whenever you wanted to go.

Ever since that day with Jin, you went back to hanging out with the guys, except Namjoon. It was nice to hang out, joke like old times but knowing Namjoon wasn't there made your heart whimper. You wanted to call him, apologize but you knew he didn't want to talk. Plus, if you called him with Nuri present, it would cause more problems.

You made it a point to spend individual time with each member to get back into the swing of things. You wanted to feel as normal as possible with them. One day was hanging out with Yoongi at his home, watching movies and eating junk food. Another day, Jin and you hung out a computer café, playing video games. The next day after hanging out with Jin, Jimin had some time after his busy schedule to hang out with you. But the both of you have the same taste; you guys went to a fancy dinner and dancing afterwards. A few days later, Tayhung and you had a picnic date by the river. Lastly, Jungkook and you went to workout, had lunch afterwards.

It was nice to hang out with the guys individually but it was even better when everyone was together. There was one-night you guys went to an amusement park you haven't been to in a while. You guys had so much fun, it made you all feel like children again.

You didn't think of Namjoon the whole time at the park until a certain ride. It was the rollercoaster you and him rode together for the first-time you guys came here. You were afraid of riding it but Namjoon told you, "Not to worry, everything will be okay." He even offered you his hand to hold the whole ride. You apologized a million times after you guys off because you felt bad for how hard you were squeezing his hand. You remember how he flashed you that dimple smile and told you it was no big deal, he "offered his hand for a reason". You smiled back and told him thank you again, as he put his arm around you as you guys walked to the next ride.

After the game was over and you finished writing the last line, you sent it to your editor so it could be posted later that night. You are ready to go home after a long day because the game went longer than normal. When putting your notes and laptop away, your watch starts to buzz on your wrist. You look at it thinking it was one of your girlfriends or even the guys but Namjoon's name pops up. Your heart sinks, making your body go numb.

"Are you okay?" Randy asks noticing your facial expressions.

"Yeah, I- I'm fine..." You say, trying to sound convincing.

"You sure? It looks like you've seen a ghost." You rather have seen a ghost than see Namjoon's text pop up on your watch.

"Yeah, just my friend."

"Boyfriend?" he teases, adding a smile at the end of his question.

You shoot a look over at Randy, "I wish..." you chuckle but catch yourself off guard, realizing what you said. You thought your crush on Namjoon was over but clearly not.

Namjoon: Hey, can I come over tonight?"

You look out onto the field and back at your phone trying to decide which direction you should go.

Y/N: I'm sorry but it's late. Maybe some other time.

Once you finish packing up your belongings you and Randy walk out together to your cars where you bid each other a goodnight. As soon as you arrive to your apartment, the gentleman at the front door began talking to you about the games today. You forgot all about Namjoon's text by talking baseball, "Well, have a goodnight, see you tomorrow," you say flashing a simple smile as you collect your belongings you set on the floor. "See you tomorrow, have a great night," the door man says with a toothy smile.
