Chapter 10: You're such a Hopeless Romantic

I am now currently sitting in between Jisung and Renjun as everyone was coming home and was beyond exhausted in looking for me.

"What were you thinking running off like that?!" Drei, who is clearly mad, said as she entered the living room

"Well you kno-" I said, "Are you crazy?! If Auntie knew about this she'll be furious" Ellie said

"Oh c'mon, the three of us know mom could care less..." I stated and looked at the both of them

"And nothing bad happened to me so calm down. I'm sorry for running off like that but I was just doing my job. And no, I am not crazy just stupid" I said answering both their questions

"Thanks, you guys for helping in finding me and I am sorry for making you guys worry" I said to everyone but they were all still silent

"So, umm you guys hungry? Cause I'm famished" I said trying to lighten up the mood

"Really? Everyone here was worried and all you can think about is food?" Drei said slightly glaring at me

I was just silent and didn't dare to reply because it would cause a big fight. So I just sat there and looked at everyone. We were all sitting in silence when Jong-gyu entered, which reminded me about the sd card that I was keeping

"Oh, Jong-gyu! Here is the sd card that I took from the paparazzi! I am also sorry for causing a huge mess and making everyone worry" I said as I stood up and handed him the sd card

"Thanks and I would like to have a word with you. Alone" He said in a serious tone which made me nervous and just replied with a nod

I followed him to Renjun and Jisung's room and there I saw my phone. Before I could even think about getting it, Jong-gyu started with what I think is a lecture.

"Y/N, I have discussed with the management that yo-"

"Please don't fire me!" I immediately said not even making Jong-gyu finish

"You're firing her?!" Heachan said from the other side of the door

"​​You can't fire her, she's just doing her job!" Renjun added

"Guys! I think I haven't finished what I'm saying and what are you doing eavesdropping?" Jong-gyu said and we heard shuffling outside which made me chuckle

"Look, I am not firing you. So, calm down. I just suggested that we could use you as the Dream's bodyguard too. Yeah, you're smaller than they are but what I've witnessed a while ago was something and I think you're up for the challenge. So, what do you say?" He finished

"Bodyguard? Really? I just chased a paparazzi and that's it. I think I'm good as their assistant" I said cause I know I'm not qualified to be a bodyguard

"Well you will still be their assistant, you just have another job. Like instead of acting as their makeup artist or whatever, we'll cover you as their bodyguard too" Jong-gyu explained

"Oh... but bodyguards have uniforms right? Would I be wearing one? And wouldn't their fans wonder why they have a girl bodyguard?" I asked cause I am not wearing suits

"Oh no, you won't be wearing suits and everything! Just a shirt that says security or something will do. And, we will figure it out as we go on. Also, please promise me you won't get lost ever again cause I've never seen the boys so worried about their assistant like that. Plus if my brother told your uncle that we lost you we will be dead" Jong-gyu said with a chuckle and head towards the door

"Yes, I promise I won't get lost that often" I said, grabbed my phone, headed outside, and noticed a few missed calls from Ralph
