There is a saying that if you keep on looking for love, you'll lose sight of what's in front of you. But, no matter what happens, a time will come when everything just clears up and a spotlight will be there to show you that they have always been there in front of you the whole time. I think that is what's happening now.
I've been confused with my feelings for a while now that I eventually lost focus on who it could be. Alex here, Jisung there. What was it that made it difficult for me to understand my feelings better? Was it because I had these lingering feelings towards Alex for years that was unsaid or is it because after years, Jisung made me feel things again that it actually scared me to admit that I'm having feelings for him. Whatever that reason was, right now, I know and I'm sure that this person right in front of me will be the person I'll be choosing at the end.
"Are you ok?" He asked
"Yeah, I'm fine" I replied still looking at those mesmerizing eyes in front of me
Can we stay like this forever? Can I always look at those eyes?
"Y/N? Did something happen? Why are you silent? Did somebody hurt you?" He asked
"I'm ok, Jisung...I'm really ok" I said with a smile as I felt my heart beat faster and my face heat up due to his presence
Hope he doesn't hear how fast it beats for him
"Why are you here anyway? Where's Alex?" He asked
"Oh, I followed you to give back your wallet, you dropped it a while ago. Then I got lost while following you" I said and gave him his wallet
"Thank you! I was supposed to go back to the arcade to look for it but then I saw you through the crowd a while ago looking lost. I was right, you ran off again" He said and sighed as he took his wallet from me
"Don't run off like that anymore, ok?" he added as he fixed his cap on my head
"Ok, I won't run off as much as possible" I said as I smiled at him
"You promise?" He said as he pulled out his pinky finger. I chuckled "I promise" I said as I intertwined my pinky and locked the promise by putting our thumbs together
"Why'd you give me your cap?" I asked as I let go of his hand and held his cap on my head
"So that I can easily spot you. Just in case you go running off again" He said
"Sorry about that... thanks" I said feeling my face heat up even more as I smiled at him
Is he like this to everyone? Why is he so nice that I could interpret it in a different way
"Where's Alex anyway? Leaving you all alone" He irritatedly said snapping me out of my thoughts
"Oh, I was actually waiting for him. Since I did run off..." I said
"Ok, I'll wait with you" He said and stood beside me
We just stood beside each other silently. It was a comfortable silence and I took this opportunity to calm myself while waiting for Alex. A few minutes passed and Alex arrived.
"Y/N..." He said as he neared me "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" I said as Jisung and I approached him
"Don't let her out of your sight ever again" Jisung said to him
"It's fine Jisung, its my fault anyway" I said to avoid another tension between them
"Bye, Y/N. See you later," Jisung said as he faced me. He then proceeded to walk away; but, before going he whispered something to Alex
"What did he say?" I asked Alex as we went to opposite direction
