Love Off Track - Pato O'Ward

CATORCE

THIRD PERSON POV:

Catalina looked around the hotel room, she was bored just sitting alone. Valentina and Fabio where currently shopping, she didn't want to go them but now she regrets her choice. She got up and walked over to the balcony, she looked at the view of the waves crashing along the beach. There was also a small party that was going on, she wasn't sure if she should go down there or not.

• Time Skip • 

Catalina felt like she was levitating, she wasn't. She was just drunk, from many drinks. "Soo... where's this Patricio guy you're speaking about, I want more booze!" she yelled, the group where all waiting on Patricio apparently he was in charge of getting the booze.  "HE'S HERE!!" shouted a guy called Gerardo, Catalina turned around to face the saviour of the party. However, she had lost her sense of balance during the far too many drinks that she has had in the last couple of hours. She hit the ground hard, but she just laughed. The guy next to her - Felipe - laughed along with her, that was until she had seen the guy who had broken her heart many months ago.

Felipe continued to laugh at Catalina stunt that she just pulled, "Are you okay?" he chuckled. He reached out his hand for Catalina to grab it, Catalina was then pulled back up by him. "Yeah I'm fine, thanks" she said, Felipe smiled at her. "I should get going!" Catalina said, she wanted to leave this place and never see Pato again. "Wait before you should you should meet Pato!" he exclaimed. Before Catalina could stop him, he had already called Pato over.

Catalina somehow felt sober, it was like all of the drinks had flushed out from her body. Pato walked over to Felipe, he then faced the girl who he couldn't see from where he was standing. As soon as he had seen her, he felt like the entire world stopped moving. "Catalina, my love" Pato accidentally blurred out loud, Catalina stayed quiet. "Whoah calm down, you just met this girl!" Felipe joked, Catalina turned around and she bolted. Pato quickly followed her, he didn't want to loose her again. As Catalina was running along the beach she had tripped, she fell down and hit the ground hard. Her entire vision went black, the last thing she had seen was the waves crashing along the beach.

• Time Skip • 

Catalina felt a tap on her shoulders, it wasn't a light tap. She opened her eyes, she was in their hotel room. Fabio and Valentina where standing near her, while Pato was no where to be seen. "Catalina?" Valentina asked softly, Catalina looked up at her friend. "Is he here?" Catalina asked, she felt like she was going in and out of conciseness. "No... but he's just getting us some food." explained Fabio, he was unsure about Pato being near her again. Yet he had to allow him, Pato was the one who had called Fabio and Valentina once Catalina had fallen on the beach. 

Catalina felt her heart sink, she didn't want to see him now. "What happened?" she asked, "You fell while running away from Pato on the beach, you blacked out for about..." Fabio then looked down at his watch "30 minutes, and we brought you back here" explained Fabio. Catalina tried to sit up, but she couldn't. It felt like a ton of bricks were laying on her, stopping her from getting up. The hotel room door had opened up, Catalina was facing away from it but she knew who it was. Valentina and Fabio looked at each other, and they left the room. 

Catalina wanted to leave, yet she couldn't. She was now alone with Pato, and no one else was in the room. Pato walked over to Catalina and sat down near her, Catalina stayed silent. Pato let out a sigh, he had so much to say yet he didn't know how to speak to her. "Why?" Catalina asked, with a hint of sadness in her voice. Pato stayed silent, he wanted to allow Catalina to speak. "Why do that to me, why would you use me. Why did you break my heart, why?" she asked, Pato stared at the floor.

Catalina looked at Pato with tears in her eyes, she still loved him. Yet she hated him just as much as she loved him, she was extremely confused with her emotions. "I didn't mean to, and I have no excuses. I love you, but yet I failed to show you that. Ever since that night where I had allowed that girl to kiss me I had been so guilty, every single second. I know and I will understand if you don't forgive me, but I wanted to let you know how I truly feel. I love you so much Catalina, and seeing you with Christian had hurt me. I had become jealous, for something so simple that you had done. The truth is I have never have loved someone so much as I love you, and I was scared of loosing you. So I..." Pato explained, but he didn't know how to finish his sentence. 

Catalina had tears running down her face, with all the strength she had left in her she had gotten up. She walked over to Pato and hugged him, she had needed to feel his touch once again. Pato immediately wrapped his arms around Catalina, he had felt her tears going onto his shirt. However, he didn't care one bit about his shirt. He only cared about making Catalina feel his love, and making her feel safe with him. "I hate you so much... yet I love you even more" admitted Catalina quietly, she then pulled back and sat back down on her bed. 

She let out a sigh, "I will forgive you, but I won't just jump back into a relationship with you. You had hurt me a lot, and trust was broken." she said. "We can take our time... I want to show you how much you mean to me." whispered Pato, he then placed a kiss on her cheek. Catalina smiled at him, she then turned to face the door. Pato chuckled and headed towards the door, he opened it and laughed at the sight he had seen. Valentina and Fabio where sitting in the hallway, both of them had fallen asleep. Catalina appeared next to Pato, wanting to see what he was laughing about. 

Fabio suddenly opened his eyes, and he had seen Pato and Catalina staring at him. "You two made up?" he asked, Catalina nodded with a smile on her face. "Finally!" Fabio groaned, Catalina and Pato chuckled at Fabio's reaction. Valentina had awoken by Fabio's voice, "What has happened?" she asked with a yawn. "They finally made up." explained Fabio, Valentina looked over at her friend and smiled.
