Love Off Track - Pato O'Ward

THIRD PERSON POV:

Catalina quickly knocked on Valentina's door, and the door immediately opened. Standing opposite Catalina was a bloodshot-eyed Valentina, something that Catalina rarely sees. Catalina hugged Valentina tightly, and they stood like that for a minute. The two of pulled back, "Come in, I have a lot to explain..." whispered Valentina. "Yeah 'a lot'..." joked Catalina, but Valentina stayed silent.

Catalina walked into Valentina's apartment, and sat down on her couch. Valentina sat down beside her, and the two of them stayed silent. "Tell me what happened from the start" sighed Catalina, she turned to face her friend. Valentina slowly nodded, and she took a deep breath in. "It started 4 weeks ago, after I found out that Tony cheated on me... I was mad, and mad at what my brother did to Tony. So I went out to a club, straight after you left for Indy..." Valentina stopped talking, and she sighed.

"I was drunk, and alone. And so was Fabio... we hit off very well, and we went back to Fabio's hotel room. The next morning I woke up after Fabio, the two of us then agreed that it was a one time thing... so I quickly left, wanting to leave that whole fiasco behind me. Next thing you know... just after a week I was feeling sick, and I was working out. All of a sudden, my stomach started to hurt. No- it felt like it was tightening every time I did a stretch, or something." explained Valentina, she looked in front of her. "So I searched it up on google... stupid I know, but I was scared and I didn't want to go to the doctors. The result was that I was 'pregnant', so I took at pregnancy test... and yeah, it was positive. I also knew that it was Fabio's because Tony and I haven't had sex for an entire month by then, and it said I was 12 days pregnant" whispered Valentina.

Catalina stayed silent, "I talked to Fabio... just like to told me to do" said Valentina with hesitation in her voice. "What happened?" asked Catalina, she then gently placed her hand on Valentina's. "We talked, and I explained to him about how it was his. He was in shock, but we eventually agreed that He will be in the baby's life. However, I will mainly take care of it. And by eventually, I mean it took him a couple of days to answer me..." explained Valentina, she then looked at her best friend.

Catalina stayed silent for a while, "Aren't you going to say anything?" asked Valentina. "What do you want me to say?" asked Catalina, "Omg slayyy you fucked Fabio and now you are pregnant, and you ate that up all the way!" sneered Catalina. Valentina bursted out laughing, and soon Catalina did as well. "I-" gasped Catalina, "I mean... it's great that you and Fabio talked, however it's Fabio..." said Catalina. Valentina sighed once again, "I know... but maybe, just MAYBE he might change..." guessed Valentina. 

Valentina felt Catalina tightly hug her, "This is kinda exciting though!" exclaimed Catalina. Valentina looked at Catalina with a What The Actual Fuck face, "We can raise the baby together, don't get me wrong though... its going to be a long and tiring experience, but we can do this! With Fabio's help, it can make it much more easy!" explained Catalina. Valentina stayed silent, "You are going to be a great mum, I know it... Remember us talking about being a mums when we where really young, and you always said that you wanted to have a baby at a very young age?" asked Catalina.

Valentina smiled at the memory, "Yeah I guess so... I would be a hot mum though..." joked Valentina. Catalina chuckled, "Now let's watch a movie!" exclaimed Valentina. The two best-friends watched movies, until they couldn't keeps their eyes open for any longer. The both of them enjoyed this peace and the comfort that they currently had, while watching movies together.

• Time Skip • 

Catalina and Valentina where currently in a mall, they decided to shop around. "Do you think its a boy or a girl?" asked Valentina , Catalina thought for a second. "I think it's a boy..." said Catalina, "Well I think that as well! I can't see it being a girl, but who knows!" examined Valentina. She was currently over the moon about this baby. Although the morning sickness wasn't the best, she was still enjoying her pregnancy. 

The two of them entered Zara, Catalina wanted a new dress. While Valentina wanted to look around, and help Catalina pick out a dress. "Do you think Fabio and you will start a relationship?" asked Catalina, Valentina continued to look around the store. "No... we aren't the 'couple' type, and it won't work out. It would be too awkward, considering he is Tony's friend..." explained Valentina, she then walked over to a stunning white dress. 

Catalina saw Valentina pick out the dress, "No Valentina, it way too revealing!" blurted Catalina. "Oh for the love of god! You have the body to pull this dress off, so wear it!" argued Valentina. "No like I said it's too revealing." complained Catalina, "Please, just at least try it on?" begged Valentina. "Fine, I am only trying this on though..." said Catalina, there was no point with arguing with Valentina. She knew she wouldn't win against Valentina, not at all.

• Time Skip • 

Catalina walked out of Zara with a shopping bag in her hand, "I told you it would look great..." said Valentina. Catalina rolled her eyes, and continued to walk. "Also, it would make Pato drool  when he sees you in that dress..." teased Valentina, "Shut up!" yelled Catalina. Her cheeks where now red at the thought, Valentina only laughed at Catalina's reaction to her teasing. "Enough of me, let's go into that baby store right over there." suggested Catalina, "Sure, I guess it would be cute to imagine my baby in the clothes..." said Valentina while smiling.
