THIRD PERSON POV:

Valentino sighed as he looked over at his friend, Fabienne. She had just won her 1st ever Moto3 World Title, at the age of 19, a couple of hours ago. It was now 2:23am, she had won it at 3:45pm. The club that Valentino and and Fabienne where at was about to close, Valentino was extremely tired but he didn't want to leave his friend alone in a country that she wasn't used to. He had already asked her to leave the club multiple times, but every time he asked she rejected. Fuck it he thought, Valentino grunted and stood up from the bar. He made his way through the drunk, sweaty bodies that where currently dancing. Fabienne was in the middle of all of the bodies, she was dancing with an other man. Something that made Valentino jealous, he finally reached her.

He extended his arm, and his hand gently touched her hand. Fabienne broke eye contact with the guy she was dancing with, and looked over at Valentino. "Is everything okay?" she asked while she smiled, "Come on, let's go. I want to sleep, and I'm not leaving you here by yourself" Valentino explained, "Alri-" Fabienne was cut off by the guy. "She's fine with me, aren't you sweetie?" The guy said while looking at Fabienne, she was too shocked to say anything. Valentino looked at the guy, he easily towered over him. Considering the guy was 5.5 ft (1.67m), Valentino gave him a deadly glare and grabbed Fabienne's hand. With that, the two friends left the club.

The friends sighed as they stepped out of the elevator, they where currently in the hallway of their hotel. "I don't wanna go to sleep..." Fabienne sighed, Valentino yawned. He wanted to sleep, but he didn't want to leave his friend. "Why don't we talk?" he suggested, "Sure, my room?" Fabienne asked. Valentino nodded, and they walked over to her hotel room. Fabienne unlocked the door, and they entered her room. "Sit down on the bed, I'm going to get changed." she said, Valentino didn't respond but he sat down on her bed. Fabienne came out later in just a t-shirt that came down to the middle of her thighs (I'mma be honest, that sounded like a fan fic written in 2013 sorry lmao), Valentino looked over at his friend. He gulped at the sight, although he was mature for his age, he was still a 18-year-old boy.

Fabienne didn't realise that Valentino was gawking her, she was too busy looking at her phone. Once she stopped looking at her phone she was already sitting on the bed, and Valentino already grabbed a pillow. She looked over at her friend and smiled, "What did you want to talk about?" she asked. "I don't know to be honest, I'm really tired..." Valentino whispered. Silence lingered over the two friends, neither knew what to say. That was until Fabienne spoke up, "I really wish I knew who my mum was..." she admitted. Valentino faced Fabienne, he didn't know what to say but he allowed her to continue on. "I hate the fact that I didn't even get to have a day with her, I hate the fact that I only know her by stories of her, I hate the fact that I only know what she looked like via photos!" she said loudly, Valentino placed his hand on her thigh to try and comfort her.

Fabienne placed her hand on his, "I wish I could talk to her, get to know her, and feel her, even if it's for a second..." she whispered. Valentino sighed, "She did seem like an extremely nice person, the stories that my mum has told of her... it sounds like you. She's even said that you remind her of your mum, that you always light up the room that you step into." he whispered. Fabienne tightened her grip on his hand, "Thank you..." she mumbled. "For what?" he asked quietly, "for always being there for me..." she said. Tears were pouring out of their eyes, In that moment the two friends looked at each other. Slowly, but surely... their faces inched closer together until their lips connected.

Instantly Valentino gently placed his hand on her cheek, but after a couple of seconds he moved it to the back of her neck. They pulled back, both where out of breath. "Did we?" Fabienne asked in disbelief, Valentino's eyes lowered. Fabienne realised what she just said, "No, I like- no I loved it!" she blurted. Valentino smiled softly, "I loved it too..." he admitted. Normally he was always strong and never showed his emotions around people, but Fabienne always broke down his barriers. Fabienne started to laugh and so did Valentino, "Well that was completely off track to what I was saying before." she joked. "Yeah, I guess so..." Valentino chuckled, "Maybe we should continue this 'off track love'" Fabienne suggested.
