Dylan
A cute boy and I are stumbling up the stairs into my room. Everyone went home finally at like 12 am. I'm more drunk than he is and he keeps laughing at me. I wonder who he is.
When we walk into my room, I do a trust fall onto my bed and start giggling. That turns into full blown laughter when I see the cute boy walking towards me with a shirt.
"GHOST!" I shriek with laughter. "GHOST GET AWAY!"
"I'm not a ghost, Dyl," the boy explains softly.
"Oh," I sit up. "You're right."
"Okay Dyl. I'm gonna take your dress off and put my shirt on you. Is that okay?" He moves closer and I put a hand on his chest.
"NO!" I exclaim. "I have a boyfriend mister. He would beat the absolute shit out of you if he knew you were trying to take my dress off."
He smiles. "How about you turn around so I can help you and you can tell me about this boyfriend of yours." I comply hesitantly and start babbling.
"His name is Ryder but I call him Ry. Only I'm allowed to call him that too. He's super tall which is nice cause I'm not. He has the best freakin hair too. It's sooo fluffy and I wanna play with it all the time." He starts chuckling. "Oh! His eyes are also really pretty. They make me feel safe. His smile is freakin adorable and...AND HIS LAUGH! Holy heck dude. His laugh just makes the entire WORLD brighter, it's my favorite sound. Actually, that's tied with his voice. His voice is deep and husky and almost raspyish. I swear his voice, his laugh, and the way he does that soft throat growl when someone is making me uncomfortable or hitting on me, those are the three hottest sounds in the freakin world."
He flips me around and puts me under the covers. Then he slides in with me and faces me.
"How does he make you feel?" He asks.
"He makes me feel so special," I start. "And really safe. I do bad things and I know I can keep myself safe but when I'm with him...all my fears and anxiety float away and I feel completely and utterly happy. He does this thing," I wiggle my body so I can demonstrate with my arms. "I'll be talking and he'll come over and just put his hands on my hips and just continue listening. He always listens to me it's really nice. He knows when I'm gonna have a panic attack or when I'm having an anxious day and he always makes the bad thoughts go away. He's so perfect," I finish sadly.
"Why do you say it like that?" He tilts his head.
"I know everything he goes through and went through. But there's some stuff I never told him. I was too afraid he'd leave me." He turns off the light and we lie down.
"Why did that scare you Dylan?" His voice seems pained. I hope I didn't upset him.
"Because I don't want to lose him. He's the best thing that's happened to me in a long time. He quite literally saved me," I mumble.
"I'm sure he'd never leave you," the cute boy says into the darkness. "You're the love of his life."
"You remind me of him."
"How's that?"
"I've been anxious all night and talking to you made it go away."
"Glad I could be of assistance princess," he kisses my forehead.
I snuggle into the covers and yawn. "Only my baby can call me that," I mumble as I drift to sleep.
~in the morning~
I slowly blink and groan at the blinding lights flooding my room. "Turn it off," I whine.
"God are you using a megaphone?" A voice asks. I yelp and roll off my bed.
