It was early in the morning when Rosemary Han woke up for her flight. How early, she couldn't recall; all that she knew was that even in LA, when she got out of bed, the sun had yet to come out.
Much to Leo's dismay, his best friend had chosen to awake at an awkward time, and for some odd reason, he had been the one to volunteer to drive her.
This meant that he too was forced to get up during the early hours of the day, even earlier than Rosemary since he had to drive to her house to pick her up.
It was around 6:45 AM when Leo and Rosemary pulled away from the Han's LA residence, and 7:30 when they arrived at LAX.
Leo had offered to walk Rosemary into the airport, which she gladly accepted, the two walking next to each other with hoods up, glasses and masks on to avoid being spotted by paparazzi and possibly making the situation worse.
"This is where I must leave you," Leo sighed once they arrived at the area for her mothers private jet.
"I'll be back soon. I mean, hopefully later rather than sooner--"
"You'll be back in a week," Leo grabbed her arms. "He's going to understand, and you'll be back in a week."
"But what if--"
"Mare, trust me," Leo gave her a look containing nothing other than confidence. "He will understand."
"I'll see you in a week," She nodded and smiled, hugging Leo one last time before boarding her plane.
Not even once had Rosemary Han ever traveled anywhere alone. Her whole life, she'd been going everywhere with someone. From the grocery store to her mothers hometown of Incheon, either her sisters, her mother, or Leo had accompanied her.
However, flying to Boston alone didn't worry the girl. Any time she'd get nervous, she'd close her eyes and imagine Leo, Maggie, and Lily all sitting in their own seats on the plane. Besides, she knew if she ever needed to, she'd be able to reach them at any time.
