Chapter 3

--- It's 6:00. The sun is starting to set, and Eda and Raine are about to meet ---

--- With Raine ---

"Oh my titan. Ok, ok, calm down, calm down. " The bard repeated to themselves as they saw Eda in the distance. "Wait, IS SHE FLYING?" They almost shouted.

--- With Eda ---

"I can't believe Luz took my staff so I would have to fly here in harpy mode." Eda thought to herself. "There they are."

Raine was as red as the red grass they were standing on. Eda landed, changed to her witch form and approached Raine. "Hello." She said. "Hey, It's been a while," they said, still blushing from Eda's harpy form. "Well, why did you want to meet up?" "I um.. gosh, this is so difficult to say," Eda was looking at them confused, " Okay, okay... I still love you and I regret breaking up with you since that day and I would like to ask if you would like to be my girlfriend."

Eda's jaw dropped as she blushed. "Oh my, oh my, oh my, what do I sayyyyy" she thought. "So...?" Raine said expectantly. "I still love you as well," Eda mumbled, high enough for Raine to hear. "I'm glad to hear that." Eda's face turned bright red as she realized they heard her.

They both sat down on the grass and started talking. "So, what have you been up to?" Raine asked Eda. "Nothing much. I have two kids, which I found on their own. One's a human called Luz, and the other is a demon, maybe? I don't know. He is called king. How about you?" "I've been busy with coven head meetings, but I can't concentrate because I'm always thinking of you." Eda placed her hand on Raine's.

Raine blushed at the feeling of Eda's hand against theirs. Eda looked at them, and they looked at her. They had a sudden burst of confidence and kissed Eda. They both closed their eyes and enjoyed the moment. Raine could feel Eda's soft lips against theirs, they just missed her so much. Eda could hear her sister in the back or her head yelling, " yes finally". Raine pulled away, Eda just stared into their eyes. "You look so cute when you're shy," they finally said. "How dare you call me cute." Eda said, putting a hand to her chest, pretending to be offended.

She pushed Raine softly, so they were lying down on the grass, and started tickling them. "Edaa~ st-stop," They said between laughter. Eda stopped, Raine sat up and said, "Can I come over? I would love to see your children." "Yes, it's ok. You can come to the owl house." She answered. They were on their way when Eda held Raine's hand. They then proceeded to walk to the owl house holding hands.

--- In the owl house ---

"We've got visitors hoot, hoot," Luz gasped as she saw Eda and Raine open the door. She ran towards Eda and hugged her, saying, "I knew it was a date." She then looked at Raine and said,"Hello Raine." "Hi Luz, Eda told me about you, nice to meet you." King jumped onto Luz's shoulder. "Hello King, nice to meet you as well" Luz then realized, "*Gasp* So you're the one Eda was talking about in her di-" Eda glanced at Luz so she would stop speaking. "Soo... do you want something to drink? I can get some apple blood if you'd like to." Eda said, turning to Raine. "Yes, please. Can I sit down?" "Yeah, make yourself at home."

Luz, King, and Raine started talking when they heard something coming from the kitchen, "Awww, we ran out of apple blood. Is it ok if I just get you some water?" Raine tried not to laugh at Eda upset because of apple blood,"water is ok. I'll take some water, it's fine, " Raine said. A few seconds later, Eda came out of the kitchen holding a cup of water in each hand and sat down next to Raine.

"Luz, King, you have to go to sleep. It's late, and tomorrow we have things to do." "Can't we stay a little longer," Luz said. "Luz, I know you want to stay here and talk, but if you don't rest, tomorrow you won't be able to get up, you will be tired and we won't get as much done." Eda tried to convince her. "Aw, ok. C'mon king. "Let's go."

Luz and King went to bed, and Eda and Raine were left alone. "It's pretty late, I should get going, but I will get in trouble if I return to the castle this late." "I mean... you could stay if you want to and sleep with me." Eda said with a slight blush. "Can I? Thank you so much! How can I make it up to you?" They said. "You can cuddle with me." Eda said with a grin on her face. "EDA," they whispered while blushing.

--- timeskip 5 min later, they are in Eda's room with Eda ;) ---

"I'm so tired," Eda said. "Yeah, me too," Raine added. Eda got in bed and patted the space of the mattress  next to her, basically telling Raine to join. Raine lay down next to Eda. After a few minutes, Eda hugged Raine from behind. They blushed as they felt Eda's warmth against their body. They hugged her and pressed her hands to their chest. Eda was also blushing from this.

A few minutes later, Raine started to talk to her." Are you asleep?" They asked. "No, I'm not tired." Eda answered. "I'm not tired either." Eda switched on a small lamp she had on the table beside her and sat up on her bed. Raine did the same. "Well, do you want to eat something? After all, we didn't have dinner." Eda said. "Sure, what do you have to eat." Raine asked. "I'm not sure, but we could order food if you want to." Eda suggested."Ok. I'll order." Raine said.

--- timeskip the food was on its way ---

Eda suddenly hugged Raine tightly. "I love you so much, and I'm sorry for pushing you away all those years ago. My mother made me think that my curse was something to be ashamed of. That's why I hid it all the time." "It's ok, I'm sorry for breaking up with you. I just didn't like that you weren't ok and didn't tell me. I felt useless, and I couldn't stand that feeling of not being able to help. I would like to ask, were you flying when we were going to meet on the hill? It's ok if you don't want to bring it up." They said.

"No, it's ok. We can talk about it." She said." Luz took away my staff, so i had to come flying to meet with you. I found a way to become the owl beast partially with full control of what I do. Want me to show you?" Without letting them answer the question, Eda stood up and turned into harpy Eda. "Wow," was the only thing that came out of Raine's mouth. They stood up and held Eda's hand. "You're  so fluffy." They said. Eda blushed, looking down at Raine, who was fascinated by her.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. "Oh, food's here, I'll answer the door," Raine said. They went downstairs and opened the door. "Thank you," they said as they paid the delivery man and grabbed the food. They went back upstairs and found Eda, who was still in her harpy form." You look so pretty," they said. Eda blushed at the compliment and sat down next to them to eat. While they were eating, Raien asked," Can i stay one more night?" Eda said "Ok but you will have to return to the castle won't you?" "Of course I will, but for the time I stay here, I will just say im on a mission of finding new people to join the bard coven or something like that." "Ok," Eda said. They ate, brushed their teeth, and started cuddling once again.

Eda buried her head into their chest. Raine started humming a lullaby for Eda to fall asleep, and she did. They could not help but look at her while she slept. "How could I have gotten so lucky with her," they thought. After a while, they fell asleep too.
