Raeda DISCONTINUED

Chapter 6

Eda woke up while Raine was asleep and decided to go down and make breakfast early.

Eda went down the stairs and into the kitchen and started making some breakfast for Luz, King, and Raine, who were still asleep. She thought about the conversation she and Raine had last night."Ugh, I should've told them earlier, not let them find out the truth by themselves," She thought.

So, she finished making breakfast and sat down to eat her plate of food. She finished eating and went to check on Raine to see if they were still asleep. They were. Eda had nothing to do, so she looked around the room to see if there was anything to keep her entertained. Then, she saw Raine's glasses.

A smile crept across her face as she grabbed their glasses and put them on. Eda walked to the nearest mirror to see how she looked. "Damn," She said under her breath as she reached the mirror."Raine is blind." She thought. She figured it was early in the morning so no one would see her, so she started to play around in front of the mirror doing silly poses.

Once she got bored, she went to her room and put the glasses in their place, but to her surprise, Raine was sitting up in bed, smiling, they had caught Eda. They just looked at each other for at least five seconds when finally Raine spoke," It's 7:30, what are you doing?" They asked. "I was bored, ok? I already ate breakfast because I was feeling hungry. You can go downstairs, I made breakfast for you as well." She said.

Raine went downstairs, nearly tripping and landing head first onto the floor. "I swear, my life just flashed before my eyes." They said. Eda, who was behind them, chuckled and snorted. Raine sat down at the table next to Eda and started to eat. A few minutes later, King and Luz walked down the stairs. They said good morning to each other and finished eating breakfast.

"Eda, can I meet up with Willow, Gus, Amity, and Hunter today? I was going with them for a sleepover at Willow's house." Luz asked. "Ok. Do I need to drop you off at her house?" Eda asked. "No, it's fine. I think I can walk there." Luz told Eda. "Ok, when are you going," She asked. "It's at five, so I'll be leaving at 4:45." Luz said.

"Eda, can I use your shower?" Raine asked. "Of course!" She said, "There are two, use whichever makes you feel the most comfortable,". "Thank you." They said as they went upstairs. "Well, I'll be in my room, reading a book," Eda said as she followed Raine upstairs. (Wooow, Eda reading a book, amazing)

When Raine got out of the shower, they realized they had left their shirt in Eda's room, so they went to get it. Eda could feel her face heat up as she saw Raine shirtless. She instantly covered her face with the book. This just made it even more obvious that she was blushing. Raine saw what was happening and went to sit next to Eda with a grinn on their face.

"I hope they put on their shirt before I turn into a tomato." She thought. "What are you reading," they said. "Oh shit," She thought. "Uh. I'm reading Angel's and Demons by Dan Brown," She said, still avoiding eye contact. "Are you nervous?" They asked, teasing her. "Yes, UHH, I MEAN- ." She stuttered. Raine laughed and said, "Alright, I'll leave you alone now."

Some time passed, and Raine went to meet up with Darius to get more information about the new head of the bard coven. They talked while they ate lunch and also met up with Alador in the afternoon, so they wouldn't return to the Owl House until 6 or so.

Meanwhile, at The Owl House, Eda had lunch with Luz and King. They talked for a little bit until Luz had to leave for the sleepover, and King went to the playground to seek his revenge. Eda stayed at the Owl House and got drunk because she was alone.

When Raine came home, they found Eda sat by the table on a chair holding an empty bottle of alcohol apple blood. When she saw them, she stood up and went to hug them,"Rainstorm~," She said lazily. "Eda, are you drunk?" They asked. "Noooooo... well, maybe." She said. She stopped hugging them and let them inside.

Raine sat on the couch beside Eda. "You are the niiiicest person I've ever met." She said, stretching the i of nice. Raine blushed slightly. "Why," they said, hoping Eda would answer to see what she liked about them. "You are very kind and good-looking, as well as sweet and understanding." She said, smiling at Raine.

Raine was also smiling. They had put their arm around Eda's waist. Then, she spoke," What do YOU like about me?" She said, leaning against Raine's shoulder. "Well, I love your personality, and you care for others. You are also very pretty, and I love spending my time around you."

When they looked at Eda, she was blushing a bit. She gave them a quick peck on the lips, which made them blush because they weren't expecting it. Eda giggled as they looked away, completely red-faced. "Have you eaten dinner already?" They asked, trying to start a conversation. "No," Eda said."Ok, I'm going to make dinner." They said, standing up.

Eda also tried to stand, but as soon as she stood up, she got dizzy and fell. Raine caught her just before her head hit the floor. " Careful, you're drunk, remember?" They said. "Yeaaah, that's right," She said. Raine helped her walk to the table, and she sat down.

A few minutes after Raine started to cook, Hooty screamed,"KING IS BACK FROM THE PARK HOOT, HOOT!" King came inside and went next to Eda,"Bleh, Eda, you smell like alcohol," He said. "Hello King," "WEH?!" King jumped and turned around to realize Raine was also there. "Oof... Hi Raine," he said.

They had dinner, and Raine went to say goodnight to King alone due to Luz being in the sleepover and Eda being drunk. Then, they helped Eda walk upstairs and into her room and lay down on her nest. Eda fell asleep in a matter of minutes, while Raine took a while to fall asleep.
