Y/N was on the bridge with Professor Lupin as they were talking and enjoying the fresh air.

"Professor, can I ask you something?" Y/N asked as Lupin seemed to already know the question.

"You want to know why I allowed you to leave the lesson early, yes? Because Y/N, thanks to the nature of your life, your abilities, everything, you've experienced a lot of darkness, seen true horror, I was fine with you facing the boggart because I thought it would take the shape of a monster that you feared, and in truth, it took the shape of something that I should have expected. You've had fear mostly ground out of you by your life experiences, but that is the one thing that may never leave unless directly addressed, you saw something truly horrifying and you froze, there's no shame in that my boy."

"Professor, sometimes I find myself wondering if there are sith who can be redeemed, most have fallen to the dark side for reasons that are usually quite tragic, Anakin Skywalker, Count Dukoo, Bastilla Shan. I sometimes find myself feeling...sorry for them." Y/N said as Lupin smiled.

"You're more like Lily Potter than you realise Y/N. She too had a eye for seeing beauty in others, even when they could not see it in themselves. I knew you where her son, you're like Harry, you have her eyes, eyes filled with purity, and the sense of a new hope. And you back that up with your Masters personality. Oh yes, I know Cal, I knew him probably before you." Lupin said as Y/N turned to him. "Cal was just a Padewan when I met him first, I oversaw his training alongside Master Tapal, he always was perseverant, adventurous, and might I say...somewhat of a rule breaker."

Y/N just smiled.

"I know one day, you will make your parents and everyone else you value the opinion of, you will make them proud." Lupin said.

"Thank you, Professor." Y/N said as Lupin smiled. "Professor? On the train, when the dementor attacked me and Harry, we both heard something, screaming."

"Well, dementors force us to relive our very worst memories. Our pain becomes their power."

"The voice sounded familiar, but I've been unable to put my finger on it." Y/N said as Lupin looked at him.

"Echoes of the past Y/N, it's best not to dwell on them, and keep your mind in the here and now." Lupin said as Y/N nodded in agreement. "You are strong in the force Y/N, and I can tell you have the makings of a fine jedi."

Lupin checked his watch and looked to Y/N.

"The carriages should be returning soon Y/N, why don't you go and greet your friends." Lupin said as he smiled at Y/N who nodded and began walking away.

As Y/N arrived at the carts he saw Hermione, Ron, and Harry all dismounting the cart, they looked like they'd had the time of their lives. He walked up to them and smiled as they all said hello to him.

"How did you get to the village?" Hermione whispered as Y/N smiled.

"Funny, I've been here the whole time." Y/N said with a grin on his face thinking it was a joke.

"I saw you, we-"

"da da da. If what I think has happened has happened, then do not tell me any details that involve me, not unless you want me to have to play Johnny B Goode at mine and Harry's parents prom night." Y/N whispered as Hermione looked at him before he looked down at the time turner.

"Oh, you bloody-- you know the rules." Hermione said as she cuffed him around the back of the head.

"Oi, I haven't done anything yet." Y/N complained as Hermione looked at him like he was an idiot.

They all talked about the trip while Y/N was keeping tight lipped about his conversation and about his senses.

"You all enjoyed it then?" Y/N asked as Hermione nodded as they walked with the Gryffindors listening to their run through what they got up to in Hogsmeade.

"Honeyduke's sweet shop is brilliant. But nothing beats Zonko's joke shop. We wanted to go to the shrieking shack but we reckoned that it would be best if we had a jedi with us when we went." Ron said.

When they arrived at the Gryffindor tower there was a crowd gathering.

"Excuse me! I'm head boy!" Percy said as Y/N groaned before making his way to the front of the crowd to see the picture of the fat lady was cut up and she herself was missing. Percy tried to push Y/N back into the crowd only to receive a glare from Y/N who moved closer to the painting.

"Percy, go and get Professor Dumbledore." Y/N said as he inspected the painting.

"Excuse me, you can't tell me what-" Percy began as Y/N continued inspecting the scene.

"Do it." Y/N said firmly, Percy went white as a sheet before rushing off to find Dumbledore.

"Y/N, what is it?" Hermione asked, unable to see what was causing the fuss.

"Stay back, everyone make way for when the teachers arrive!" Y/N said as he analysed the cuts on the painting. "Knife, my guess is some sort of kitchen knife...what's this, it's like the force is tremoring."

Y/N put his hand over where he could feel the tremor before falling to one knee, seeing a vision and hearing the voice of Sirius Black and the fat lady.

Y/N recovered and could hear Dumbledore approaching and he stepped aside to let Dumbledore through, he was looking for the Fat Lady as he tried to figure out what had just happened to him.

"Mr. Filch? Round up the ghosts. Tell them to search every painting in the castle to find the Fat Lady."

"Headmaster, there's no need. She's right there." Y/N said as he pointed to a painting, the crowd rushed to where he was pointing, while Y/N and the teachers made their way to the painting in an orderly fashion.

Y/N approached the painting.

"Who did this to you?" Dumbledore said as Y/N began to look around the room for anything that could tell him where Sirius Black went.

"Eyes like the devil, he's got. And a soul dark as his name. It's him, headmaster. The one they all talk about. He's here, somewhere in the castle! Sirius Black!" The Fat Lady panicked as Y/N
re-joined the rest of the quartet.

"Mr Filch, secure the castle, tell the staff to search the school for any sign of Black. The rest of you, to the great hall." Dumbledore commanded.

That night the entire Gryffindor house was sleeping on the floor in the great hall with blankets and pillows, with camping mattresses. Y/N was between Harry and Hermione. He was awake thinking over everything that had happened recently when he noticed Hermione was awake as well, she was shivering.

"It's freezing in here." Hermione whispered as Y/N took his blanket off and handed it to Hermione. "No, I can't you'll be even more cold-"

"Hermione, I've slept in colder places, try the Dursley's shed in the winter, that is cold. I'll survive, please, I was roasting in it anyway." Y/N whispered as Hermione smiled and took the blanket.

"...thank you." She whispered as she felt warmer.

"It's nothing." Y/N whispered as he laid his head back. "But forewarning, You're not getting my bloody pillow as well."

Hermione let out a toothy smile at him before reaching across and flicking Y/N's ear.

"Muppet."

"Mahna Mahna." Y/N quipped.

"Do doo be-do-do." Hermione sang quietly.

"Mahna Mahna." Y/N repeated.

"Do do-do do"

"Mahna Mahna" Y/N said again.

"Do doo be-do-do be-do-do be-do-do be-do-do-doodle do do--"

"Quiet." Snape sneered at them both, making the pair giggle as the teacher walked away.

"Night Y/N."

"Night Mione." Y/N said as he closed his eyes and allowed sleep to consume him, Hermione smiled at how peaceful Y/N looked when he was asleep as she snuggled her sleeping bag closer to Y/N...'for warmth'...
