The sound of breathing filled the great hall, awaking Y/N who looked up and saw the same cloaked figure from all of those years ago.

"Come with me Y/N...and spare these people." The figure said as Y/N looked in fear at the figure, everyone woke up and gathered around, with their wands drawn.

"If you want Y/N you'll have to go through us." Neville said.

The figure looked at them all and Y/N before igniting their lightsaber.

Y/N watched as the figure grabbed the nearest student and threw their lightsaber straight at him

Y/N watched as the figure grabbed the nearest student and threw their lightsaber straight at him...

Y/N awoke with a start, causing Harry and Hermione to awaken at the sudden movement.

"Are you okay?" Hermione asked as Y/N nodded to her.

"Yes. Yes I'm fine...thank you." Y/N said as he looked around and caught his breath.

Later that day the class was gathered in Lupins class expecting to be taught by their for once friendly defence against the dark arts teacher, but they were sorely disappointed when Professor Snape burst through the door and used his wand to close the shutters on each of the windows as he walked to the front of the classroom.

Snape pulled a cord and a projection screen lowered from the ceiling, the Professor turned and looked at the class with his usual stern look.

"Turn to page 394." Snape said coldly and emotionlessly.

The whole class opened their books, Ron was going through the book page by page as Y/N found page 394.

"Excuse me, sir. Where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asked as Snape glared daggers at him.

"That's not really your concern, is it, Potter? Suffice it to say that your professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Turn to page 394." Snape said as he tapped a projector with his wand, turning it on. Snape looked to Ron who was slowly going through his book still one page at a time. Snape swished his wand and Rons book jumped to page 394.

"Werewolves?" Ron asked in disbelief.

"But, sir, we've just begun learning about Red Caps and hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks." Hermione stated from her seat next to Y/N that was until recently, empty.

"Quiet." Snape said.

"When did she come in? Did you see her come in?" Ron whispered to Y/N who claimed that Hermione had been there the whole time.

"Now...which one of you can tell me the difference an Animagus and a Werewolf?" Snape said as Hermione's hand shot up. "No one? How disappointing."

"Please, sir. An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice. With each full moon, when he transforms, he no longer remembers who he is. He'd kill his best friend if he crossed his path. Furthermore, the werewolf only responds to the call of it's own kind." Hermione explained, Malfoy done a fake howl earning a chuckle even from Y/N.

'Bastard, he beat me by a second.' Y/N thought internally.

"Thank you, Mr. Malfoy. That is the second time you have spoken out of turn, Miss Granger. Are you incapable of restraining yourself or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?" Snape said as something in Y/N snapped. His hand shot up and Snape looked at him. "Yes, Mr Potter."

"Sir with all due respect, while it is true that Hermione spoke out of turn, that does not warrant you the right to insult her like that, if you wish for students to listen to you then you would do well to respect them. Miss Granger is a student in your care at the present time, and she should not have to put up with being insulted by teachers who are supposed to enforce the school rules against bullying and harassment. And for your information, sir, the only reason Hermione spoke out of turn the second time is because she raised her hand to answer your question to the class, and you ignored her, you showed her no respect at all and frankly sir that is just plain wrong. You should be utterly ashamed of yourself. Now, I believe you owe Hermione an apology...don't you Professor Snape?"

Hermione was concerned with how eerily calm Y/N's tone was as he spoke to the professor.

"Mr. Potter. While you raise a valid point, you do not however, have the authority to pass judgement on me and how I discipline my students."

"I'm not passing judgement on you disciplining your students...but there's a line between disciplining and bullying, what you're doing is an example of the latter. I'd have thought that you especially would be the last person to want to provoke bullying." Y/N said as Snape looked at him.

Snape was silent for a moment with a look of shock in his eyes at Y/N figuring out about his past. The professor regained his composure.

"Why you insolent little swi- twenty points will be taken from Gryffindor. As an antidote to your classmates ignorance and insolence I expect a full summary, I want on my desk by Monday morning, two rolls of parchment on the werewolf with particular emphasis on recognising it." Snape sneered as the class groaned. "And Y/N, I expect five rolls of parchment. Now, get out of my classroom and go to explain yourself to your head of house."

Y/N picked up his bag and his belongings all while glaring daggers at Snape before walking out of the classroom and heading to Professor McGonagalls office to explain himself...
