Summary:

Sunshine is leaving the band to take care of the clergys choir and be a vocal coach to siblings of sin and ghouls. Her replacement in the band becomes her newest student but she is different than the others.

Sunshine POV:

I was pursuing my dream of being a vocal coach. Sister Imperator put me in charge of the clergys choir. (She thought it really needed help. A little sister acts moment) The band had to find someone to fill in the gap. That's why Aurora got summoned. I was told I had to coach the new ghoulette. I didn't have any issues with that, I've coached many people before and it wouldn't be any different. Right? Wrong.

Gay panic! She was the prettiest thing I ever saw. But I had to chill about it. My job is to make her sing well and learn the songs, not kissing her and doing other stuff couples do.

Aurora already knew how to sing. She had the voice of an angel. She was perfect in every way. I've never really felt like this before. It's different. I feel sick but I don't want it to stop. Every note she sings is so enchanting to me. She's like a siren, a beautiful girl with a lovely voice. And the more she sings the more I'm drawn to her.

I do praise her in a normal amount, I don't want to come off too strong. There were 0 errors, nothing she needs to work on. She does get really giddy after I praise her though. Her blush is getting darker after every compliment I give.

Is she into women or is she just being really nice and shy? It's not a risk worth taking. It's too dangerous. It could become awkward between them, I might not be able to see my friends again without feeling uncomfortable.

I bid her goodbye a make my way to our weekly girls-only movie night with Cumulus and Cirrus. I sit on the floor in front of the couch where Cumulus and Cirrus are cuddling. They're really lucky to be in love with each other. I wish I could have something like that. Most girls I like end up being straight and stop talking to me after I ask them out.

"Do you know if Aurora likes women?" I ask halfway through our movie. Cirrus paused the movie while Cumulus turned the lights on. They look at each other before looking at me.

"Why are you asking?: Cirrus asks "Are you in LOOOOVVEEE?" Cumulus teases me. "Maybe' I mumble. One minute. Cirrus gets up and leaves the room. She comes back with Aurora. Once in the room she turns to the angel beside her "Are you gay?" Cirrus asks bluntly. Poor Aurora looks really shocked. She does nod slowly. "Good. Sunshine, she gay." Cirrus tells me as if I wasn't there when she nodded. Cirrus goes back to the couch with Cumulus. Aurora looks lost, I pat the floor right next to me. She takes notice and sits down next to me. Cumulus turns the light off and Cirrus presses play and we watch the movie. "Hey" she whispers in my ear "Do you know what that was about?" She asks. "Cirrus and Cumulus found out I like you, and they didn't want me to chicken out on asking you out," I explain to her trying not to be weird. "I like you too." She tells me and gives me a quick peck on the lips. We finished the movie and picked a second one. "Hey! You started without us." Swiss walks in with a tired Rain wearing a face mask and bathrobe. "You're not a girl. It's a girls-only night." Cirrus tells Swiss hoping he would leave. "Swiss and I are baby girls, we count." Rain states before dragging Swiss and sitting on the floor next to me.

I guess more vocal lessons (cuddle sessions) with Aurora will happen. So I'd get to spend more time with my girlfriend before she leaves.
