Ever since I did Sodos medical exam he hasnt left my side. He was glued to my hip. Always finding a way to spend the most time with him. The positive of it was that I was highly positioned as a doctor and was now in charge of all the ghouls's medical needs. I am beyond exhausted. Especially today, I could not catch a break

Great exactly what I needed today. Sodo ran down the hall. Part of me wants to run away the other wants to wait for him. So I wait. He greats me with a slap on the ass.

Awww someones grumpy, youre no fun Sodo has gotten really comfortable around me and doesnt hesitate to say useless comments.

I rub my face with my hands.

Im just tired. Whats up? I asked him less irritated.

He looked at me with his bug-eyed mask and tilted his head before grabbing my hand.

And he proceeded to drag me to the mess hall and basically picked my food for me and made me sit and waited for me to eat it even if I wasnt hungry.

Im not that hungry, I said before standing up.

He immediately grabs my arms and he digs his claws accidentally in my arm. While staring me down.

OW! He let go after I said that. He just let me leave while he felt guilty for hurting me.

I started walking down the hall towards my room. Then Papa stopped me on the way and gave me a few tasks to do in the hospital wing. After a few hours of sorting files, sterilizing equipment, and organizing the cabinets I can finally go to my room and sleep.

On my way there I feel very unwell and I lose consciousness.

It turns out Sodos claw punctures got infected and my lack of sleep didnt help at all.

I hear beeps from machines and sniffling. I also feel someone cuddled up to me while Im lying down in a bed. I move my hand towards the person. Their hair is long and silky. Its my little Dewdrop. He started purring once my hand made contact with his head. He grips onto me even tighter than he was originally.

Hi Dewdrop, I say. He doesnt reply. His grip only tightens more and he starts crying on my chest.

Im sorry He whispers muffled. I open my eyes to look down at the ghoul. I move a bit for comfort and he looks up at me.

Why are you sorry? I ask

I hurt you. He replies.

I place my hand on his tear-stained cheek and rub my thumb on his cheek occasionally wiping a tear.

Its all my fault accidents happen dont blame yourself, ok? I say

He nods and pushes his face into my hand. He leans his head to rest on my shoulder and snuggles up to me again. I respond by wrapping my arms around him.

Youre my favourite ghoul, you know that? I say closing my eyes hoping to rest a bit more.

Youre a strange human. He said before lifting his head and kissing me. His lips were soft and tasted like vanilla.

I didnt mind being his human. It pleased me very much.
