"Hi." Harry smiled as he opened the door to his apartment.

"Hello." Louis greeted.

"How did the interview?" Harry asked as Louis took off his shoes and jacket.

"I think it went well." Louis replied.

"I'm sure it did. Hi again." Harry smiled and got in his personal space to hug him.

Louis breathed in his cologne. Harry smelled really nice.
"Hungry?" Harry asked as he let him go.

"Yeah." Louis replied smilingly.

Harry gave him a quick tour of the flat before they landed in the kitchen. Something that smelled amazing was stewing on the stove.

They sat down to eat and they never ram out of conversation topics. Louis even made him laugh a couple of times and Harry made the cutest little giggle before he burst out in laughter. The food was amazing and he made sure to tell Harry so.

After dinner, they say down in the living room. Louis picked up his special coin and flipped it, having it decide if he should kiss Harry tonight or wait. The coin said kiss.
"What are you doing?" Harry asked.

"Funny story actually. This coin is the reason we met." Louis smiled and let the coin run between his knuckles.

"What? That needs an explanation." Harry giggled.

"And I will tell you all about it some other day. Now is not the right time." Louis smiled.

"Seriously? You can't say something like that and not explain it further. Now I'm super curious!" Harry complained.

"That will keep you on your toes." Louis smirked.

"Not cool!" Harry pouted.

They locked eyes and Louis realized this was the moment. He leaned in slowly, eyes flickering between Harry's eyes and lips. He was very relieved when he noticed that Harry leaned in too. They shared a first, soft, perfect kiss. They were both smiling when they broke free.

One kiss turned into two and this time they added some tongue. It was passion behind it. Louis was happy they clicked but then his roommate's conversation earlier popped up in his head. He pulled back.
"We're not gonna have sex. Not now."

Harry opened his eyes and looked confused for a second.
"Have I even hinted that I wanna sleep with you tonight?"

Louis published crimson red.
"No. Sorry."

Harry burst out laughing.
"Where the hell did that come from then?"

"Sorry, me fucking roommates were screwing with me head." Louis sighed. He was utterly embarrassed.

"Your roommates? This just keeps getting better and better." Harry chuckled, looking really amused.

"Ehm, yeah. Nevermind. So what's your favorite band?" Louis said.

"Oh no, don't dodge the subject. Tell me about your roommates." Harry replied.

"They're morons for making this evening more than it is, and me best friends. I'll give them that." Louis said.

"So why do your best friends think that I wanna fuck you tonight?" Harry asked. He wasn't gonna let this go.

"You know, dinner at your place. Set the mood or whatever." Louis muttered.

"Ah. Well, I had no such motives but I can see now why they would think so. It's a pretty classic move, isn't it?" Harry smiled.

"Yeah." Louis agreed.

"Well, glad we got that out of the way then. Now when we have established that we won't have sex I wouldn't mind another kiss. You're a great kisser." Harry said cheekily.

"So are you " Louis smiled before he obliged and kissed him.

It felt like he was flying when he was on his way home an hour later. They hadn't done more than kiss but he had felt the fire behind it. As soon as he got home he spent forty minutes talking about Harry this and Harry that and Liam and Niall were nice enough to listen.

They saw each other every day that week. Harry quickly became one of Louis' favorite persons ever. He was funny and kind and he adored how slowly he talked. He adored everything about him really. The fact that he was absolutely gorgeous was just a plus. It seemed as if Harry liked him too. It was too early to tell if they would fall in love, but thinking of it, Louis would be very surprised and absolutely devastated if they didn't.

It couldn't be this easy but it was. Louis waited for the backslash. For something bad to happen. For Harry to tell him that he wasn't that into him. He didn't.

Louis went from feeling confident that he had a soulmate and that the universe would make sure they met, to being scared that it would blow up in his face now when he had actually found him. Falling in love was scary. He had never felt more vulnerable in his life because he was falling ridiculously fast. Two weeks of knowing Harry and he was already so gone for him. He didn't want to scare him off so he pulled away. He should have figured that Harry would notice.

They had spent another lovely evening in Harry's apartment. Harry had insisted on cooking him a celebration dinner for getting the job of his dreams. He had gotten the call earlier that day and immediately gave a two weeks notice at his current job. He had immediately texted Harry to tell him the good news, hence the dinner.

They ended up on the sofa like they had many times in the last two weeks. Kissing Harry made his head spin. He broke it off and moved away. Harry furrowed his eyebrows.
"Okay, what's going on? You've been off today. Have I done something wrong?"

"Of course not!" Louis hurried to say. He glanced at Harry. "I'm trying to play it cool. I don't wanna scare you away." He confessed.

"Do I look scared?" Harry smiled.

"No." Louis admitted.

"Do you think we're moving too fast?" Harry asked.

"No. Do you?" Louis retorted.

"No." Harry smiled. He hesitated briefly before he added. "We have a good thing going here. It just feels right, you know?"

Now he looked a little frightened, as if he revealed too much. Louis cupped his face.
"I do know. I really like you, Harry. A lot.

"I like you too. A lot." Harry smiled.

They went all the way that night and it was perfect.
