IF her father could hear her thoughts right now, he'd make her put 7500 yen in the swear jar.

But at least she upgraded from muttering the words out loud to screaming them in her head, although the look on her face made it apparent enough that she was not enjoying herself.

She let out a deep exhale as she pulled her hair halfway through the final loop and let go, keeping it up off her back.

Truthfully, she had forgotten she wasn't alone for a moment, and that this wasn't her hair tie.. and that she was not the only one standing in this panic inducing bus.

"That's a nice vocabulary." The annoyingly energetic boy said with a small chuckle, nudging the already tense girl in the arm a bit.

Truthfully, he wanted to see just how many words she knew, seeing as she had already muttered a good few of them and accidentally convinced half the bus that she was some delinquent.

Their assumptions were understandable.

Her eyes widened a bit as they stared forward blankly, she didn't quite process that he was talking about earlier when her hair tie snapped.. Her head slowly turned to look at him before she spoke.

"Are you a mind reader..?"

"Wha-"

DING!

She had never been so grateful to hear that panic inducing text tone in her life.

Sure it drew more attention to the panicked teen, but it also cut off her awkward interactions!

"Sorry! Have to uh.. check that.." she said with a small nod as she pulled her phone out of the pocket of her shorts, that's probably not the best place for it considering she'll be doing a lot of running soon.. and as we all know..

Women's pants don't get very good pockets.

But that was the least of her worries right now. The text that was actually, not that urgent, was her main concern, seeing as it was supposed to be her way of stalling until she could get off the bus..

Parole officer :
Are you on the bus?

Haruuuu (aka the best daughter ever??):
Yeahhhhh?
