𝒙𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒗
The night I came home from helping neteyam my mother wasn't very happy. She wasn't happy with me being out so late and being out so late with neteyam. I ended up getting scolded by my mother and it hurt, it was the first time she's raised her voice at me in a while.
I woke up quite early today and decided to just take a walk. I couldn't stand seeing my mother, it felt if I saw her I would just start sobbing then and there.
I sat on the shore drawing patterns on the sand trying to take my mind off of last night but it just hurt. I unknowingly started crying and I just sat there.
As I was crying I heard footsteps coming to me. "Xaloria? " I recognized that voice, it was him, it was neteyam. His voice just soothed me. I quickly wiped my face so it didn't look like I was crying and turned to him.
𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒚𝒂𝒎 𝒑𝒐𝒗
I woke up earlier than my family and couldn't get back to sleep, once I finally sat up and looked around I realised I really was the only one awake. I knew I wasn't gonna successfully get back to sleep so I went to look around.
I was walking on the beach when I heard noises. I looked a little further and I saw her, crying. My heart immediately hurt for her as I walked closer hearing her sobs grow louder.
"Xaloria? " I walked up to her. She turned around and I saw her beautiful face, even if her eyes were red and slightly puffy she was beautiful.
"Oh hi neteyam" the way my name rolled off her tongue was so relaxing. I sat down next to her as she looked back to the ground.
"Are you okay? " she just nodded, I knew she wasn't. I gently grabbed her hand and caressed it with my thumb. "Are you okay xaloria" she finally looked up at a single tear going down her cheek as she shook her head.
It hurt so much seeing her cry. The longer she looked in my eyes the more tears fell. I embraced her cupping the back of her head as she nuzzled into the crook of my neck. I played with her hair as I felt her tears fall onto my shoulders.
"It hurts neteyam" she spoke into my shoulder.
"Shh it's okay I know, I know" I didn't want her telling what happened immediately I just wanted her to calm down, that was my priority. We both just sat on shore together, both in each others embrace and me playing with her hair.
After a while she fell asleep in my arms. I couldn't help but give her a light kiss on the top of her head as I had managed to take her back to my families mauri.

My eyes slowly fluttered open and I realized I was no longer on the beach, I was in a mauri pod but it wasn't mine. I looked around and saw neytiri and tuk. I was in the sullys mauri but how? I looked down and there it was. Neteyams hand gently resting on my waist. I looked up and saw him asleep.
"Oh you're up" I turned around and saw neytiri looking at me smiling warmly. I sat up from neteyam, gently moving his hand.
"How did I get here? "
"Neteyam carried you here sweetheart you must have been very tired. "she talked as she threaded something.
"Oh I'm so sorry if I'm intruding I can leave right now if you'd like"
She shook her head while smiling "oh don't worry I don't mind at all you can stay if you'd like, or at least until he wakes up, unless you want me to wake him because I can"
"That's alright you don't have to thank you though" I smiled at her
"Of course don't worry" after she spoke tuk popped in.
"It's okay xaloria I think my brother likes you! " tuk giggled as her mother pat her head. I laughed under my breath thinking about what she said, did he really?
