"Okay okay fine-" before I could finish my sentence my mom cleared her throat.

"I think someone is here to see you neteyam" she nodded her head towards the doorway.

I looked up to see who it was and I met eyes with ria. I immediately smiled and got up from my spot.

"Hey what's up" I caressed her forearm.

"I have something to tell you" she looked slightly uncomfortable, I could tell just by the way she was standing.

"What's bothering you my love" I tucked her hair behind her ear.

"My parents know that we are mated.. " she looked down

"How? "

"They decided to choose my mate and I told them I couldn't mate and they just connected the dots from there. " she paused. "I'm sorry they know I didn't know that they would-"

Just as ria began calming down a shout was heard.

"What the fuck is wrong with you! " I looked up and saw zidrani marching towards us. I let go from ria and stepped in front of her, shielding her.

"What do you want zidrani" I scoffed at him.

"Why the fuck would you mate with this freak xaloria huh?! You were supposed to be my mate! "

He began trying to push me away from ria but failed as I stood my ground. "You better get the fuck away from here zidrani. " I shoved him back with one arm while the other held rias waist.

"What is going on here? " my mom and dad stepped out of the marui.

He opened his mouth to speak but was then interrupted by tonowaris voice. "Zidrani that's enough"

Zidrani scoffed and walked away. Suddenly tonowari began walking towards me. "You're a fine boy, a good mate" I looked up at him surprised as he extended his arm to shake me hand. "I do need xaloria now though so.. " he gestured her to follow him as she held my hand caressing it before leaving.

"Neteyam we need to talk. " I turned around to see my mom and dad waiting for me to come into the marui. I already know what they wanted to speak to me about.

We entered the marui to my mother waiting patiently. "What's going on? "
