The private jet soared through the sky, carrying Kojiro, Kaoru, Kojiro's mother, and his sister, Kura, from Rome to Venice.

Kojiro, unable to contain his joy, shuffled in his seat, grinning mischievously at Kaoru. "Can you believe it, Kaoru? We're flying to Venice in style! The canals, the bridges, and the romantic atmosphere... It's going to be incredible!" he exclaimed

Kaoru, unable to resist the opportunity for a tease, rolled his eyes playfully. "Oh, please, Kojiro. Venice may be beautiful, but I highly doubt it can match the grandeur of my presence," he replied, a smirk playing on his lips.

Kojiro laughed heartily, his boisterous laughter filling the cabin. "A bit dramatic, aren't you? But I'll let you have your moment. Only because my mum can't be bothered with us arguing right now" he retorted

Mrs. Nanjo watched the playful exchange between her son and Kaoru, a warm smile gracing her face. She had always appreciated the strong bond between the two friends, and she knew that their connection went beyond mere friendship

However, she didn't want to push them into a relationship, so she kept quiet and watched

As the jet landed in Venice, the group made their way to the canals, the heart and soul of the city. The gondolas glided through the water, the melodious songs of the gondoliers echoing through the narrow waterways

Kura, usually composed and mature, couldn't resist joining in the excitement. She nudged Kojiro with a smirk. "Hey, little bro, let's see who can spot the most handsome gondolier," she teased, her eyes scanning the passing boats

Kojiro, always up for a challenge, accepted his sister's proposition with a competitive glint in his eyes. "Challenge accepted, Kura! But we all know I have the best eye for spotting charm," he boasted, a playful smirk on his lips.

Kaoru, observing the rivalry between Kojiro and Kura, couldn't help but shake his head with a chuckle. "You two are incorrigible" he commented, his voice tinged with amusement

The day continued with a visit to Piazza San Marco, where they marvelled at the grandeur of St. Mark's Basilica and the intricate architecture of the Doge's Palace

They wandered through the narrow streets of Venice, getting lost in its maze-like charm, discovering hidden gems and capturing memories with every step

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, they returned to the private jet, weary but filled with the joy of the day's adventures. The jet engines roared to life, carrying them back to Rome.

Inside the jet, Kojiro leaned back in his seat, his energy somewhat subdued after the long day. He glanced at Kaoru, a sense of contentment evident in his eyes. "Today was amazing, wasn't it? Venice truly exceeded expectations," he remarked, his voice genuine.

Kaoru nodded, a soft smile playing on his lips. "It was indeed a memorable day. I'm glad we got to experience it together," he replied, his voice warm with appreciation.

Mrs. Nanjo, seated nearby, observed the interaction between the two with a knowing smile. She had seen the subtle shifts in their dynamic through out the trip, But she also knew that their feelings would unfold in its own time, and she respected that

As the private jet soared through the night sky, carrying them back to Rome, a comfortable silence settled in the cabin.

Kojiro and Kaoru found themselves sitting side by side. Mrs. Nanjo and Kura had dozed off, their soft snores providing a gentle backdrop to the scene.

Kaoru, his brows furrowed in mock annoyance, glanced over at Kojiro. "You know, Kojiro, you really have a talent for getting on my nerves," he commented

Kojiro, leaning back in his seat with a smirk, raised an eyebrow. "Oh, come on, Kaoru. You love it when I annoy you. It's all part of our special bond," he retorted, his voice laced with sarcasm

Kaoru crossed his arms, feigning irritation. "Special bond, huh? More like a never-ending rivalry," he countered, unable to hide the mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

The banter continued, each retort met with a playful jab. In the midst of their banter, their shoulders occasionally brushed, sending tiny sparks of electricity through their bodies.

As the jet glided, their lighthearted bickering slowly subsided. The exhaustion from the day's adventures began to catch up to them, their eyes growing heavy with sleep.

Kaoru yawned, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "I can't believe we're still at it, even in the air," he mused, his voice tinged with weariness.

Kojiro stretched his arms above his head, a yawn escaping his lips. "Well, what can I say? It's just one of the many perks of having me as your best friend," he replied, a genuine warmth in his tone.

Kaoru's eyelids grew heavier, his voice laced with a hint of fondness. "Best friend, huh? Yeah, I suppose I can tolerate you a little longer," he teased, his words softened by the warmth of their friendship.

The cabin fell into a comfortable silence as sleep finally claimed them both. They leaned against each other, their shoulders touching once again, their breathing synchronized
