(A/N) If you get a ride home from school--like me--let's just say your ride canceled or your parent/guardian was busy that day so you had to walk.
Okay? Okay!

After a long and tiring day at school (and a long and tiring walk home) you had finally reached your front door.
You pulled your house key from your pocket and unlocked the door. You walked inside, flinging your backpack onto the floor, and went to the living room to get started on some hardcore Netflix-ing. ('tis my sport)
You took your time, kicking off your shoes and sliding around the (hardwood/tile/ect.) floor in your brand new Hogwarts socks. You were home alone for the next few hours anyway, so it was okay to get a little crazy (aka browsing the Internet on the coach in the living room instead of hidden away in your room.)
You were all pumped up for a couple hours of watching Supernatural without headphones when you heard something: the TV was already on.
Maybe (m/p) left it on by accident this morning?
You heard a cough.
Okayyy.... TVs definitely don't cough.
You cautiously peered into the room.
Comfortably reclined on your sofa, as if he'd been there for a while, was a scrawny, tan-skinned, boy, about your age, with a mop of tangled brown/black hair atop his head. He looked your direction and the two if you locked eyes.
His chocolaty brown eyes widened and he jumped up in excitement.
"Oh thank gods, you're finally here!" He smiled, "I was starting to think I'd gotten the wrong address.... You are (Y/n) (L/n), right?"
You nodded slightly, "Who are you?! And how do you know my name?!"
"Whoops! How rude of me!" The boy scurried up to you and held out his hand for you to shake, "Leo Valdez, at your service, madam..." He smirked a bit, "Or may I say, madaaaaayymmn!" He said, checking you out.
You didn't laugh. Or shake his hand.
"And, um, Leo?" The boy nodded and smiled. "How long have you been in my house?!" You tried to stay calm and use the bad cop approach but it wasn't really working.
"A few hours. I came in right after you left. Where were you anyway?" He asked, pulling up a chair to sit in.
"What do you mean 'Where was I?' It's a Tuesday and I'm (y/a), I was at school, obviously." You scoffed.
"Bah! School!" Leo exclaimed, "All that silly math and English nonsense! Who ever even uses that in the real world? Hey! Are you any familiar with Greek?"
"Uh, I don't know," You rubbed the back of your neck, "It always kind of interested me, but I never tried to learn the language...." Were you seriously having a conversation with the guy that broke into your house?
"Oh don't worry! If Chiron's right--and he always is--you'll be a natural at it! Just gotta get you a few lessons with Annabeth and you'll be fluent in no time!" Leo beamed.
"Wait, wait, wait. I'm sorry, who are you again? And who the heck are Chiron and Annabeth--no offense to them. I'm just really confused right now. WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS GOING ON?!"
Leo didn't reply in words, just threw you a wink, grabbed your wrist, and pulled you outside.
Your protests and struggles ceased when you saw the giant bronze dragon chilling out on your driveway.
"What. The. Hell. Is. That?" You gasped, wide-eyed.
Leo laughed and dragged you closer to the dragon. "This," He said proudly, "is Festus. He's kind of my wing man." He gestured to Festus's huge metal wings and winked.
"Very funny." You said sarcastically. You couldn't really decide whether this kid was annoying or adorable. Both maybe?
With Leo's help, you mounted the dragon. It was a lot more comfortable up there than you expected.
"So, um, mind telling me where you're kidnapping me to?" You asked sassily.
"Camp Half-Blood." Leo answered happily. "Don't worry, you'll love it there."

(A/N) Not super fluffy but oh whale
