Chris and Demetrius let out a whistle at the same time as they walked into Stephen's dispensary or what used to be of it seeing most things burned and ruined from the break in the other day.

They thought they could come and help out and see what was salvageable only to find out nothing at all was.

"Damn," Demetrius spoke making Chris hit his shoulder. "What? This shit is gone,"

"You check the security cameras?" Chris questioned while licking his lips and looking around until landing on his soon to be father in law.

"Can't. They got ruined in the fire but look, I don't even care about who did it and why." He waved it off and took in a deep breath, "I just wanna get this place up and running again. Good thing I got the cannabis restaurant going now."

"Shit don't worry about it. I'mma help you-"

"Chris, don't even bother. You got a newborn at home along with my daughter, it's okay to worry about your family instead -"

"In three months, we gone be family officially so at the end of the day, we all family. I'mma help out the best way I can with it." Stephen dapped Chris up and gave him a thank you.

"Oh brother, y'all be killing me with this fast and furious shit." Demi mumbled and rolled his eyes making his father look at him with his eyebrows raised.

"And what are you gonna do to help me?"

"Pray." He answered back confidently making Chris and Stephen shake their heads.

"Boy need jesus."

"Do you have an idea on who might've wanted to do this? Like it's random as fuck."

"I do but I don't care. I'mma just blame it on the fact that we are located in crime area where a lot of robberies are so it's my fault for choosing this area." Chris hummed and looked around the shop before placing a hand on Stephen's shoulder reassuringly.

"As much as I wanna stay and chitchat, your daughter sent me to pick up some food for her and shit and if I'm not back home in the next ten minutes, she gone be on my ass." Stephen laughed out loud at that not surprised of his daughter's actions.

"I definitely don't want to hold you up." They hugged again and Chris gave Demetrius one as well before leaving the spot and hopping inside his car and making his way home as fast as possible before his Fiance rang the alarm.

He got home in less than ten minutes and rushed inside and upstairs to their bedroom with the bag of sandwiches from Subway, Nadia ushered for him to pick up, and walked in seeing their newborn in her arms with his Welcome to My Life documentary playing on their TV.

"I love how you watch me like I'm not laying right next to you every night," He chuckled to himself and took her sandwich out of the bag and handed to her while swapping it out for his baby. "What's up, papa?"

He placed a bunch of light kisses on his face before holding him in the correct way in arms and taking a seat on their bed.

"I like hearing your voice when you not here," She admitted making him smile.
