8:30 PM*Thanksgiving*
A big smile laid on my face as I walked up the steps to my grandmother's house. Chris and I spent all day with my dad's side of the family since he knew them more and well that we completely forgot to swing by my mom's side.
Luckily, my grandmother was waiting up for my call and since it wasn't too late in the evening, we decided to stop by.
"Damn, you can at least carry the bottle of champagne." Chris said behind me making me roll my eyes and flick my hair over my shoulder.
"Why would I touch something I can't have, baby?"
"To help your husband out. Got me carrying liquor, flowers, and a gift box while making sure you don't bust your ass in them heels. You the only motherfucker that wear heels on Thanksgiving I've ever seen,"
"You done complaining?" I crossed my arms over my chest and he sighed walking past me going up to the front door. "You had an attitude for the past hour. You want a kiss to feel better?" I questioned while grabbing his cheeks in my hand making him look at me.
I don't know what his problem was but he been sarcastic with me for the past hour and he got one more time before I kick him in his yellow ass.
"I want something else." He spoke lowly and his voice coming out raspy making my heart skip a beat but all I did was plaster on a smile and pat his head.
"Cute."
"You get on my damn nerves." He huffed and I smirked ringing the doorbell on the front door. "I feel like I'mma get robbed out this bitch one day."
"Trust me. You more likely to get shot then robbed."
"What?!" I giggled at his response when the door opened revealing my grandmother with her arms wide open.
"There go my favorite grandchild with my favorite great grandchild on the way." She placed her hand on my stomach and I smiled feeling the love. "That baby is gonna be so loved but come in. It's dangerous out there."
"I keep tryna tell her that,"
"Chris, you don't even know how dangerous it really is. I'm the one that grew up around here," I said rolling my eyes and making my way to the kitchen where the smell of food caught my attention.
I probably had a good four plates in total today and I could definitely go for five more plus dessert.
This baby been starving like crazy, like damn. How much can you actually eat already without even being on the outside world? I just hope they don't come out picky with all this I've been eating.
