I tossed aside as my throat started bothering me. Drinking water at night is something you want to avoid badly because you don't want to get up from sleep. But, meanwhile, you also wish someone placed a bottle in your hand and help you take that sip of relief.
I tried not to wake up and let the thirst subside but then, I heard something so weird that made me open my eyes abruptly.
Who's sobbing?
As I helped my tired body turn, I could now see it quite clearly through the illumination caused by the night lamp.
Bhavna Tai had her back turned to me. She had crawled beneath the sheets like a baby and the forces of sorrow were faking her shake rhythmically.
Is she crying?
Why?
From whenever I have seen Bhavna Tai, I have perceived her as a strong and independent person. I admit that she has been acting a little weird lately but it was 2 am for God sake!
There must be something really bothersome.
I gulped moving towards her and carefully placed my hand on her shoulder, making her almost freeze.
'Who?' She suddenly said, looking at me.

Two days had passed from the day I received the application forms. Aunty has re-joined the college too. I am supposed to submit the application by today afternoon. Aunty said she'll be waiting for me near the college.
Eshaanvi, too, decided to leave for Mumbai after she heard from her brother even though she had few more days of sanctioned leaves. Even though Aunty was hesitant about her leaving at the beginning, Eshaanvi convinced him that it was the best option as she didn't want Rahul to stay alone after the big things that had occurred in his life lately.
Well, I did not have anything to say. I did want my best friend to stay for few more days but .... she had her points too.
