Hey everyone! Wish you all a very happy new year 🎆

What are your plans this year? 🤔
Resolutions??

Also, I hope you all remember where this story halted 😅 I guess it was the morning after the ceremony with a visibly annoyed Rahul being rude to Kavya, thus, making her shift somewhere else..which in 'Prejudiced' turned out to be the apartment of Krunal and Pankhuri. With confusion and embarrassment of last night consuming her, Kavya's only hope remained in 'Avinash': perhaps, the savior she has long waited for.

So, with all your love, let me begin the new chapter.

///////////////

Who handed me the drink? Was it really spiked? But, nobody knew me there. Why would anyone....Was that meant for someone else? But...

'Kavya!' Pankhuri didi placed her soft hand on my shoulder as she served. 'Stop thinking about what happened, dear. That won't do you any good. Try to look forward and stay happy.'

I forced a smile on my face. 'Yeah, I'm trying.' I said forcing the food inside my mouth.

Avinash' still didn't pick up the call. Guess he's busy! Why would he waste his valuable time on a small phone call from me?

Ugh! What am I thinking?

Whatever happened in my life for the last seven days, had placed me somewhere so distant from my own life.

I called aai too. She was with my aunt. She said 'her husband' and 'his family' were fuming over my 'unsanctioned absence'. They accused aai of 'conspiring' with me 'on walking in the wrong path'. They still believe I'll be back though. No money, no family, no resort...

'What was the name of your boyfriend, again?' Pankhuri didi asked passing me over the glass of water.

'Uh..Avinash..Avinash Singh.' I said putting on a smile. 'Just hope things go right from here.' I sighed.

'It will, Kavya. Just feel that your life has taken a kickstart and now, it's gonna run all  over the places you've ever imagined.' Krunal bhaiya said. 'And we are all here with you.'

I felt overwhelmed and an emotional smile formed on my face. 'Thank you.' I said.

All though these years, I have always hidden the ugly truth about my family from the world. I thought it was shameful and demeaning but, after meeting people like Eshaanvi, Hardik, Krunal bhaiya and Pankhuri bhavi, I know it was the boldest move I've ever made. It feels so good to talk and express the pain within.

Meeting Eshaanvi has changed my life for good.

^^^^^^

I read it again.

Avinash: I'm sorry for the ignorance, babe. Let's meet tomorrow.

A tear escaped my eyes. This was the text I've been waiting for the whole day. Now, that it came when my eyes were just catching the slumber at 1 am, I wanted to speak out my feelings. May be complain about Avinash' ignorance or cling to him childishly..like a lost child in the fair clings to its mother after he finally finds her.

I held the pillow closer to myself. I didn't know how to respond to Avinash. May be I was too weak.

Why is it always a girl who needs a masculine support?
