CHAPTER 10: THE ROYAL RANGERS

Me, Keigo and Hizashi were in the base as the three of us walked up to Kendall. "Uh, Kendall" Keigo said, waking Kendall up from her sleep. "It's Miss Morgan" Kendall said. "Did you work here all night?" Hizashi asked. Kendall yawned a little. "Destroying monsters is one thing but with Fury in charge of the Ptera Zord, you will need a stronger Battle Mode in your Megazord" Kendall said as the three of us followed her.

"Which is why I developed these, they activate Dino Drive Mode" Kendall said. "Awesome, Fury won't know what hit him" I said as Keigo looked at the new Dino Charger. "Let's just hope so, they haven't been tested yet but if they work, they will double your power" Kendall said. Me, Keigo and Hizashi were looking at Kendall, shocked. "But remember, only in the Megazord" Kendall said.

"Dino Drive Mode, that's great Kendall" Hizashi said. Kendall's Dino Com beeped. "The Zandar trenches has arrived" Chase said. "We're on the way to help you unload" Keigo said. "Not me and Kanan. Shelby needs me for something really 'urgent' in the café and Kanan is needed elsewhere to meet someone important" Kendall said. "Oh, must be really important then" Hizashi said. Me and Keigo laughed a little bit.

All of us were outside unloading the crates when Shelby came out. "So, does Julian get a show?" Tyler asked. "No, that guy lives and breathes for his art, he really needs a break. Anyway, where's Kanan?" Shelby said. "Oh, someone wanted to see her so she is going to meet them and she will be back later" Keigo replied. "Hey guys, take a look at this" Chase said. "Wow, this exhibit has the Stone of Zandar" Riley said.

"What's that?" Shelby asked. "I never heard of it" Keigo said as I agreed. "Well, if you believe in the legend, all of it started when the knight Sir Ivan found the stone" Riley said. "Knights are really awesome" Chase said. "So, what happened?" Koda asked. "A hundred years ago, the young Prince of Zandar was being escorted by Sir Ivan" Riley said.

"Ugh, seriously? Just because he's the prince, he can't say please" Shelby said. "Uh, that's not the point of the story. Anyway, while they stopped to get some water, the knight noticed something shimmering in the creek. He reached out only to find..." Riley said.

All of us heard some screeching and Keigo told him to be quiet. "It sounds like a big eagle" Keigo said. "Yeah" I said. Then screeching happened again.

🐤MEGAZORD BATTLE🐤

All of us went over to it.

"That's no eagle" Shelby said.

"That's the Ptera Zord" I said.

The Ptera Zord started to attack the city.

"We really need some firepower" Keigo said.

"Dino Charger! Ready!" me and Keigo shouted.

"Summon! Styraco Zord!" I shouted.

"Summon! Carno Zord!" Keigo shouted.

"Hizashi, watch your Zord!" Keigo said.

"Carno Zord! Wind Blast!" Keigo shouted as his Zord used its wind attack to push the Ptera Zord back a little.

"Thanks mate" I said.

"Wait, not so fast. It's coming back!" Keigo said.

The Ptera Zord suddenly changed into a Megazord.

"It changed!" Tyler said.

"That's the Ptera Charge Megazord!" Riley said.

"I wish that is was on our side!" Shelby said.
