CHAPTER 9: WHEN LOGIC FAILS

A/N: This is where there is a new Megazord Formation to help the Dino Charge Megazord out

All of us were in the base while I was sorting out Hizashi's Dino Chargers for him. "Our beautiful E-Tracer, up in smoke" Shelby said. Koda's stomach made a noise. "Sorry, I very hungry" Koda said. "Don't worry, Koda. I've sent Chase and Hizashi to get some pizza. Are you nearly done with his Dino Chargers, Kanan?" Kendall said as Keigo came up to me. "Almost done, I just got to do one more" I replied as Kendall nodded. "So, Fury now knows where the Ptera Zord is but would he tell Sledge?" Keigo said. "Sledge doesn't care about the Zord unless it leaves Fury with the Gold Energem" Kendall said. "But Fury betrayed Poisandra so Sledge can't trust him anymore" Shelby said.

"Woah, woah, woah, I'm really confused. What's the next step?" Tyler asked. "Maybe we eat" Koda said. "I think that I've solved it. All of us need to look at the problem logically" Riley said when we looked at him. "Sledge, Poisandra, Fury, now they each take their own paths" Riley said as he placed the marbles into his contraption.

All of us went over to look at it. "Chasing after power, love, maybe revenge but there is one thing they will need first" Riley said. "The Energems" me, Keigo and Shelby said. "Exactly, their only chance of getting an Energem is with a very powerful weapon, like the Ptera Zord. Different paths, leading to one conclusion" Riley said. "So they got to power up the Ptera Charger" Tyler said. Riley nodded his head.

"But there's only one lab like ours with the equipment that's strong enough to energize a Dino Charger" Kendall said. "And logically, the lab is where we start" Riley said. All of us left the base as I was holding Hizashi's Dino Chargers.

All of us arrived at the old abandoned lab. "Chase! Hizashi!" I called out. "Yikes, probably more Rangers!" Puzzler said. "Chase, you ok?" Koda said. "I'm fine" Chase said. "Here are your Dino Chargers Hizashi" I said. "Thanks Kanan" Hizashi said. "Fury must be in there with the Ptera Charger" Shelby said. "Let's go pay him a visit" Tyler said.

All of us entered the building. "It doesn't look like anyone has been in here at all" Keigo said. Me and Hizashi agreed. "We've to find that lab and fast!" Tyler said. "Let's split up" Riley said. All of us split up in different directions. Keigo and Hizashi went with me.

The three of us were in a corridor going through the door but we ended up back on the same corridor. "The same corridor? Again?" I said as the other two agreed.

"Guys, can you hear me? Tyler, Shelby, Kanan, Chase" Riley said through his Dino Com. "I am here but I don't know where here is. And it, it's so cold" Tyler said. "I keep on running through the same stairway" Shelby said. "We're trying to keep warm" I said. "I'm stuck in a loop too" Chase said. "I still hungry" Koda said.

Me, Keigo and Hizashi were sitting on the floor as Keigo laid his head on my leg as he wrapped his wings around himself a little to try and keep warm. "I've got to keep warm" I said. "Yeah" Keigo and Hizashi said.

The three of us were still on the ground, we saw Riley's marble. Hizashi grabbed the marble off the floor. "Riley's marble" Hizashi said. The three of us saw a vent at the top of the wall. "Riley" Keigo said.

"I win, now give me your Energem!" Puzzler said. "Oh, I don't think so. You see, this game wasn't chess" Riley said. "Surprise" me and the others said from behind Puzzler. Then Puzzler turned around and saw all of us. "The game was to escape the maze" Riley said. "That's inconceivable!" Puzzler said. "Oh and that reminds me...checkmate" Riley said. "What? But how?" Puzzler said.
