chapter 5- Bethan, are you dead?

Ashtons pov

I can't believe she left me, she left me this time. I've never felt as shitty as I feel right now. My heart is broken, it's sitting in the spot where I saw her walk away, where I let her walk away. I should of done more, I should have ran after her but instead I let her leave. I no longer know what I want to do.

"Aston mate?" I stare blankly at the wall in front of me, it's been two days since she left. "Ashton, your mother keeps ringing you. I think its important" I take a deep breath but I don't react I can't. "She is on the phone!" with that Michael puts the phone to my ear.

"Honey, Ashton you there?" I give a little hello. "Ashton it's Bethan she has had an accident" With that i'm snapped out of my grieving state.

"What happened? Is she okay?" I say with panic in my voice. I stand up instantly.

"Well she is in the hospital, she's okay just has to stay in so they can check up on her.... She is also in a bad place, her mother told me that she has been crying herself to sleep since two days ago." She has been crying? Because of me?

"Well tell her mother that I will be there soon, I will get on the next flight. Don't worry I have two weeks off" With that I hung up as I know she will get in my head and force me to stay.

I run to my room and pack a back pack full of essentials and clothes. With that I run into the uber that Michael called for me. I give all the boys one quick wave and with that I am off to Australia.

I arrive at the airport after a long ass drive, I grab my bag and run to check in. My flight leaves in 10 minutes. I get through security and run to my gate, I just about made it as they were shutting the door behind me. I look for my seat number and finally find it, I'm sat on the isle seat and next to a guy with dark hair and a hoody with 'dirty pig' written on the front. He also has stubble and bushy eyebrows. He seems really familiar.

"Hey mate. You're Ashton right? Ya know from 5sos?" I turn to face the 'dirty pig' boy and smile, He has an Aussie accent.

"Hey and yeah I am" With that it suddenly came to me. "Wait your one of those guys on youtube right? you know like all the challenges and invisible rope prank thing?" I love that channel but I can't remember what it is called.

"Yeah the Janoskians, I'm James. I can't believe you watch our videos, How did you find our channel?" I'm starting to think that this guy could be a new friend.

"My mate Liam Payne told me about you. He said he got told to watch you during a stream and has watched you ever since." I smile.

We talk for a while when I feel my eyes get heavy, with that I sleep.

I run to her room, I run as if i'm being chased. I need to get to her. I need to know she is better. I run through the room of her room in the hospital.

I see her sitting on her bed with cuts all over her face and body, she looks terrible. She has wires all over her keeping track of her heart rate and making sure nothing happens. I run towards her with open arms, she doesn't try to hug me back when I hug her. She is just staring at the wall.

"why did you leave me?" I ask while trying to make our eyes meet. I ask the same question over and over again. She slowly turns her head to look at me. She has no emotion she is like a zombie.

"leave" A tear falls down my cheek as she asks me to leave. I tell her no.

"I want you to leave" she says again with no emotion. I stay put i'm not going anywhere.

"JUST FUCKING LEAVE" wow she is really pissed at me, more tears come falling but still I don't listen. Instead I grab her hand and kiss it.

I get up as she starts having some sort of seizure. With that a load of doctors come racing in. I watch as they check her pulse, they begin to give her a shock to try and bring her back but nothing. tears fall even harder and my cheeks sting.

I look at one of the doctors who is looking at his watch "death two fourty pm"

Death, what she can't be dead. They are lying!!!

"Flight will be landing so put on your seat belts as we are landing" The voice of a very happy flight attendant wakes me up, i'm covered in sweat and tears, Bethan she died, wait no! Thank god it was just a dream! she is still alive!!

I get into the airport and run to a free cab and head to the hospital. I'm coming for you Bethan.

As soon as I get to the hotel, I run and head to the room that her mom told me she was in. I search for 10 minutes until I get to room 403. I stand at the door for quite a while. I take a deep breath and walk in.

As soon as I walk in our eyes connect.
