"it's impossible to find a sister like you in this world, so you will be accompanying me in every world".

I understood what he was saying, and before I could botch things up any further, I decided to leave, or perhaps I should say run, with other women after me. My ears were perfectly capable of hearing everyone's whispers, but I decided to ignore them. I wasn't trying to hide my inability to cook—I told them outright that I couldn't do it—and they were the ones who made me do it.

Mai was called by Mahranisa, who spoke to her in a nearby corner and she nods at something I was unable to see.

"What did she say?"

Not knowing what I was getting myself into this time, I asked her right away.

"Not much at all, Ranisaa"

She responded slowly while lowering her head.

"I don't want you to go about getting reprimanded on my behalf, so if there is something severe, you better let me know".

I nervously questioned her.

"Nothing like that exists"

Again, her response was quiet.

"I'm just stating that I dislike favours".

I turn away from her and focus on the path.
"Of course, I am aware of that queen".

She responded, and I nodded in agreement.

"Would you mind taking care of something for me?"

"What?"

She asks with an arched eyebrow.

"Can you feed that cow for me? I'm scared of them."

"sure"

She responded without hesitation.

"also, I'd like to thank her".

"who"?

"the housekeeper who made the food instead of me".

"You don't have to".

she dismisses my opinion like it's a joke.
"no ,I would rather thank her. I owe her a lot".

"You owe her nothing; she did what was required of her,"

She appeared irritated at my illogical random requests.

"Please come with me, Maii; if not, I'll find her on my own".

I warned her.

"Okay," she gasped, "you go to your room, I'll send Gauri with your breakfast. I think you should eat in your room today."

"Maii, you are the best. Thank you so much."

I was sent to my room after she left with other women. I was waiting in my room for my breakfast and the maid, whom I was meant to thank, when the door is rapped on.

"come in"

I responded without turning my head, keeping my attention fixed on the wall-mounted painting.

"you must be gauri, I really wanted to thank you......"

As soon as I laid eyes on her, my words became lodged in my throat. She continued to stand there holding the food tray.

"Is there a problem, queen?"

She broke the ice when I was unable to speak. I can't believe what kind of game God is playing with me, and my eyes start to tear up and my lips start to tremble. All I could say is

"meera"

Not comprehending what I was trying to communicate, she glanced around.

I dashed over to her and grabbed the food tray out of her grasp, setting it down on the table and ordering her to sit next to me.

" Meera, why didn't you tell me you were here all this time? I've been looking for you everywhere, thinking just I teleported here, so I'm glad you're here with me as well. I've been so scared, and now that I finally see you, I'm so relieved. You have no idea how happy I am."

When I noticed just perplexity on her face, I had to stop speaking.

"meera Are you not delighted to see me? If not, why are you being so quiet and silent? Did they harm you in any way?"

She was making me nervous

"I'm glad you're here, Queen, but I'm sorry I don't understand what you're saying. Also, who is Meera? Your assumption about my name, is incorrect my name is gauri and not meera".

"what are you saying, you are meera, my sister don't you remember me?

"who don't know you queen, but neither I am Meera nor your sister"

"You are my final hope, Meera, so don't do this, please".

"I am Gauri, not Meera Queen. I came with you with several other servants during your marriage in your dowry. I also used to be a cook in your father's empire. It's possible you didn't know me all this time because we never crossed paths. I was a simple servant, and my family still works in your father's empire."

"I believe you are mistaken, she exclaimed. I'm leaving now since I need to go to Mahranisaa as well. Please call me if you require anything more"

and she then went, leaving me all alone to find the answers to all of my quiries on my own. My eyes well up with tears. My hope went as soon as it appeared, but then something came to me and I wiped them away.

"so what if she isn't my meera? Maybe she just doesn't recognise me yet, or maybe it's her past life; at the very least, she is the most familiar face here. She is my meera. I know she's somewhere inside Gauri, meera or not, she's my sister in this or any year & I will be by her side".

I was ready to leave my room with a smile on my face when my Mia entered, and I took a step back.

"Where do you intend to go?"

she inquired suspiciously.

"I was planning on meeting Mahranisaa because I needed to chat to her about something essential".

"Can you just tell me that vital detail before you  before you open your mouth in front of her and upset her on something new?"

"Sorry, Mai, but I need to talk to her first about this".

I responded innocently.

She sigh "Okay, but she is a busy woman who is dealing with serious problems with the king, and you are fully aware that he has advised you not to approach him in the next 24 hours. I will notify you as soon as she is available to speak with you".

"thankyou so much mai".

I said with excitement.

"I encouraged you to spend the rest of the day in your room to avoid any further problems. You are new to this place, and if you continue to make mistakes, it will give people a negative opinion of you. People are already spreading strange rumours about you".

She said with serious face.

I didn't want to agree on that, but she was correct; I was only causing difficulties for her and everyone else, and remembering his look, he wasn't joking when he stated he didn't want to see me for the rest of the day.

"okay."
