"Siblings: the only enemy you can't live without."

I was scrubbing the kitchen counter when Hazel offered to help, but I had to stop her because she didn't know how to do it properly. Instead, she grabbed a broom and started sweeping the floor. I told her to relax, but she insisted on helping.
Dion couldn't come because he had patients to operate on, while Alexandro and Nic were upstairs attending to some business matters.
Earlier in the day, I met Alex, who apologized for his harsh behavior yesterday. However, I still wished he would have apologized for asking if I had slept with Alexandro.
Slut or whore is how my father addresses me, and Alex's question made me wonder if everyone saw me in that light, even though I'm still a virgin.
He did buy me flowers as an apology.
Lost in my thoughts, Hazel caught my attention. I hadn't even noticed she had left and returned. "Do you have a brother?" she asked. I shook my head and replied, "No, I don't have a brother."
Then Lucas appeared from around the corner, the guy I met in the park who asked for my number. "Well, you two look like fucking siblings," Hazel muttered under her breath. Nic came rushing down the stairs, followed by Alexandro, who walked down at a more leisurely pace.
"Ariella?" Lucas asked, and I nodded in confirmation. "How have you been?" he inquired.
"Good," I replied with a smile, glad that he still remembered me.
Alexandro seemed to be watching us, glaring even. "How's your cheek?" he asked, still remembering our previous encounter. "It's healed," I whispered, awbcmoving my hair out of my face.
"Do you two know each other?" Hazel asked. I nodded and explained, "We met once in the park." Lucas added, "I asked her for her number, but she refused to give it."
"I'm hungry!" Nic suddenly groaned.
When is he not hungry?
"Come, I'll prepare something for you," I offered, taking his arm and hooking it with mine and waving goodbye to Lucas.
"Thanks, because I can't cook, and Hazel can't even make a sandwich," he whispered, but loud enough for Hazel to hear. I giggled, but Hazel hit him on the head with the broom, making me burst out laughing.
Alexandro was still looking at me, so I smiled and waved at him. He nodded back with a small smile on his face or something like that.
As I started cooking, Lucas and Alexandro went upstairs, apparently having become business partners. I didn't know Lucas had his own business; he looked quite young. However, considering that Alexandro also started a business at a young age, I admired his ambition.
