Six's POV

I was so close. So close to finally catching up to Y/N and then this guy comes along and ruins everything. Does he not realize what I could do to him? Does he not realize what I will do to him?

Slowly, I make my way over to him. "H-Hey, we can settle this in a...uh...civil manner. Just let me and Y/N go, and we can all go our separate wa-"

I don't let him finish.

I hold his throat tight and slowly lift him off the ground, making sure he won't be breathing any time soon. He desperately flails his legs around, for a reason I could care less about at the moment.

He tries to pry my hands off but to no avail. Actually...it just makes me go even tighter around his throat. This is where he will die.

"P-Please...let...let go..."

I don't listen. He's not worth listening to.

Why isn't he dead already? I'm getting impatient. Seven realizes something and hurries to grab something from his pocket. Oh, you're not getting me with that thing this time around.

Seven quickly tries to flash my eyes with the flashlight using the last bit of strength he has left in him. How predictable. I quickly turn my head to the side, avoiding being blinded.

Shadow Six suddenly appears at my side. Annoyed, I snap my head in their direction. Can't they see I'm in the middle of something here?

Shadow Six puts up one of their fingers, supposedly implying "One moment" before vanishing once again.

Did they interrupt me for that? Really? This is why I find them so irritating. They have a voice, just use i-

BEEP

Huh? Was that the elevator coming up? Wait, the elevator! Right! I look back to Seven, debating if I should finish him off, or go chase after Y/N.

After a small moment of thinking, the answer is obvious. Y/N's safety is more important. But this guy is far from being safe. I will come by later and finish him off there. He better be ready.

Reluctantly, I let go of his throat. Just to make sure that he doesn't think that I let go out of mercy, I swiftly kick him in the stomach.

He lets out a pained groan, clutching the spot where I kicked him.

Turning back around, I make my way over to the elevator that's slowly making its way up here.

Eventually, the elevator arises, and I quickly jump on top of it. Despite the elevator still rising, I hear another loud noise to my left. As if someone jumped on it with me...

Him again.

Didn't I teach him his lesson already? Why would he ever think to follow me?

He looks at me cautiously, still clutching his stomach. "Please...Just leave us alone.."

Oh, so he's still going on about that? "Still trying to play a hero, huh? How pitiful." I laugh to myself. Does he really think he's some hero that's gonna destroy the villain? That's just laughable.

I walk over toward him once more. He backs up a bit, clearly not wanting to fight me. It's too bad, he really should have thought about that before following me onto the elevator.

I clench my fist. Clearly choking him out wasn't an effective method. Time for a new tactic.

I quickly swing my fist at him, but he gets out of the way in time. I try to throw another one, but it just barely misses. How is he so good at dodging my attacks?

Changing my tactics again, I kick him in his leg to knock him down. Thankfully, he has no foresight.

Before he has time to stand back up, I punch him in the jaw as it was the first thing I came into contact with. He desperately tries to get away, but I won't let him.

This time I punch him in his eye. Despite the pain he's in, he still tries to grab my wrists to stop me from attacking.

DING

The elevator has arrived.

I get off of him, albeit reluctantly. Despite him being in massive pain, with bruises already starting to form...he still has that determined look in his eyes.

Is he really that desperate to stop me?

I notice Shadow Six in a hole in a wall, motioning me to follow her in. That has to be where Y/N went. I look back down at Seven. He's not worth any more of my time. If I see him again, I'm just going to have to change my strategy once more.

Leaving him behind, I start making my way up toward Shadow Six.
