It's been a couple weeks now, me, Aella and the kids have settled into a normal routine.
Since we all couldn't fit comfortably in any of the sport cars I owned I got her a Mom mobile. Not necessarily a minivan but something more acceptable something I wouldn't mind driving. You would never catch me driving or riding in a minivan so I got her a black Jeep Track hawk. It has a supercharged V8 engine, launch control and accelerates 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, all the things I love in a car. When I start dropping the kids off at school I wouldn't mind taking the new mom mobile.
They start school next week, we went and visited the academy and the girls were in love. As soon as they saw the playground on campus they stopped complaining. Meanwhile Luciano is excited to start playing soccer this fall, the school he went to before was too small for a soccer team, only about 150 kids went there.
The children are out in the back right now with Camille and Sofia while me and Aella are hanging around in the kitchen.

"I want to make some muffins." She blurts out of nowhere.

"It's your kitchen Amorina." I informed her. She starts taking out bowls, measuring cups, flour and sugar, basically all the ingredients needed for baking.

"What types of muffins are you making?"

"I'm making banana nut muffins, the ones Cheryl used to make." Her face turns to one of nostalgia, most likely remembering her. Cheryl was kind of like a grandma figure to her, letting her stay at her place and taking care of her. That's how she met Caine, she was his grandmother.

"Anyways, these will be the best muffins you've ever had." She said arrogantly. She bends over, her plump ass in jeans a sight for sore eyes. Fuck, just last night I was fucking her on her knees, her juicy ass was jiggling every time I rammed into her. I left some red handprints on her cheeks from smacking the lush flesh so much, seeing the marks on her eased the caveman inside me. She's my woman all mine, my wife.
She turns around my eyes immediately drawn to what's around her neck, I look closer it's a ring on a silver chain.

"What's that?" I point towards her neck, she looks and tucks the necklace underneath her shirt.

"It's nothing." She avoids eye contact.

"No, tell me,what is that?" My voice stern, holding no room for argument. She sighs getting herself ready for whatever she has to say.

"It's my engagement ring Caine gave me." Her answer sets me off.

"Why am I now seeing it?"

"I've always worn it under my shirts, and when we're intimate I always take it off." She said.

"You will take it off right now." I ordered her, I will not have her hold on to ghosts from the past in our relationship.

"He was my husband." She explained weakly.

"Now I'm your husband, your husband is telling you to take it off so you will take it off."

"No, he was my husband."

"You're my wife now not his, do you know how it felt to see you choose him over me?, to know that the woman you love is spending her nights next to a man who took his everything, do you know how it felt hearing about your pregnancy with Isabella and wishing that it was me you were having a family with. It was agonizing, pure misery, some nights I couldn't sleep, some days I couldn't eat, I'm addicted to you, only you. You were able to move on but I couldn't, I couldn't move on from you. Choose me for once, please Aella." My voice breaks off in the end. She stares at me with glistening eyes. Not wanting her to see me fall apart I go upstairs into my office locking the door behind me.

"Enzo please open the door." She knocked, pleading with me. I don't open it, going to the bar I pour myself a glass of cognac. I drink it in one go and pour myself another.

"Please open the door baby." She begged, drinking my second glass I set it on the table and open the door. She instantly comes in and pulls me into her arms, I don't hug her back. She's sobbing, feeling her tears soak through my shirt.

"I'm so sorry baby, I choose you, I'll always choose you." I embrace her, appreciating her words. She has no idea what they do to me. She looks up, her eyes are puffy and red.

"Don't cry Amorina." I wipe her tears from her eyes.

"I'm sorry, you're my future baby, I'll always choose you." She hiccuped, I rub her back calming her down. I see that she's not wearing the necklace anymore.

"Stop crying Amorina, let's go finish those muffins you were making." She smiles at me, snot all over her nose. Grabbing some napkins from the table I wipe at her nose then at her eyes.

"Sorry I got your shirt dirty." I look down and see it's covered in tears and snot.

"It's ok Amorina, let's go." I grab her hand and we make our way downstairs.

"We're ok?" She asked

"We're ok."
