Lorenzo
"Why are you showing me this?" She clenched her teeth, fuming in rage.
"Because you're going to sign it and agree to be my wife." She throws her hands up in the air, a puff of breath leaves her mouth.
"Why would I sign this? I've already been married Enzo, I don't plan on doing it again."
"You will do it. Think about the life I can provide for you, for the children." She scoffed.
"I have a house lined up for us and we got a good sum from Caine's life insurance." She tries to reason with me, not knowing I won't leave until she signs.
"That little amount can only last for so long, how about you call your realtor John." I told her.
She pulls out her phone calling him."Hey John, it's Aella I was just calling about the house we were talking about." She scrunches her face. I made sure John sold the home to a nice couple with a newborn baby.
"Oh, that's ok, thanks for letting me know." She slams her phone on the table, her eyes zero in on mine.
"Did you have something to do with this? He said the house has already sold."
"Yes Amorina, whatever house you look at will be sold immediately. Whatever apartment you look at will be leased immediately. You might as well sign the contract and make your self comfortable in my home. There would be no need to work, you can stay home cook, bake or tend the gardens if you want. The children can enjoy a comfortable life, going to the top schools and having the best opportunities in life that you know I can give them." Her eyes soften and she deflates. I know I hit her weakness, our children.
"Where's the pen." She asked.
I pull one out from the inside of my suit handing it over to her. She doesn't bother reading it just signing her name on the bottom, her mistake. I grab the contract and tuck it into the folder."Now what?" She asked.
"Now you will pack all your belongings, the kids too. You will be moving in with me today. Whatever you can't pack just leave it, I'll have it replaced." Her eyes are wide open in shock.
"Enzo! That's too soon the kids start school in a few weeks I need time to unenroll them."
"Don't worry about it, everything has already been done, I even enrolled them into the new school they'll be going to The Carter Wright Academy, they include grades pre-k to 12 so they will all be going to the same school."
"B-bbbut that's a private school, I could never afford those prices." She stuttered.
"We can afford them, what's mine is now yours. We can afford it." Her eyes turn glossy, she composes herself not letting a tear fall.
"Call the children in here and tell them the good news." I told her.
"Kids! Come here." I hear running, sounds like a stampede making their way through. Luciano, Clementine and Isabella stand before us.
"Yes mama?" They all say.
"Go pack your bags, we're moving in with Enzo." The girls scream in excitement while Luciano looks hopeful. He's always wanted to stay with me but Aella's only allowed him weekend and summer visits. With all of us living underneath one roof we can finally be a family.
We arrive at the gates, I punch in the code before they swing wide open.
"Wooow." Clementine and Isabella said in wonderment.
Parking the car, they immediately get out.
"Girls don't forget your bags." Aella reminded them.I open the door and they gawk in amazement, I have a few abstract paintings here and there, a L shaped leather couch and a 95 inch tv. Everything is pretty much the same as when Aella left.
"Enzo, everything still looks the same." Aellla said.
" I didn't feel like changing anything." I Shrugged my shoulders.
"How about I show you guys your rooms." I told them.
"Yes! Yes!" The girls exclaimed.
We walk upstairs opening the first door on the left.
"This is Isabella's room." Her room looks like a unicorn vomited inside it, pink was everywhere. Her shelves were full of Barbie's, she even had a little play castle in the corner of her room."Yaaay!" She runs into her room instantly grabbing one of the Barbie's on the shelves and playing with it.
"Next we have Clementine's room." Opening the door, we're met with soft purples lavender and lilac. A few Barbies on her shelves but the majority is filled with books, I found out from Aella that she loved reading all types of books.
"Thank you Papà." She gives me a hug and walks in exploring her new area.
"Luciano, your room is still the same, nothings changed."
"Thanks Papà, I'm glad to finally be here permanently." He walks to his room and closes the door.
"What about my room?" Aella asked. I smirk knowing she won't like my answer.
"You're room will actually be with me, it's our room now." Smiling, I cross my arms over my chest getting ready for her outburst.
