LorenzoWe arrive at the children's school, the girls jumping into the rear. I buckle Isabella into her booster, Clementine sits in the middle and Luciano sits behind me.
I drive us back home, the girls are chattering and Luciano's on his phone. Aella's so tired that she fell asleep, her head leaning against the window.
Upon returning home the two minions run inside.
"Mio figlio, help me take the stuff out the trunk, I want them in that empty bedroom next to mine."
"Si Papà" He opens the trunk, his eyes widening when they settle on the baby stuff.
"Is Mama having a baby?"
"Si, we're having another baby, a little sister." He groans as soon as I say sister.
"Man, I was hoping for a baby brother." I laugh and pat his back, not sure if we'll have more kids. I'll leave the choice to Aella.
We set the stuff in the empty room, sometime this week I'm planning on painting the room a soft pink and painting little faeries on one side of the wall.
Walking downstairs I see that Aella is still passed out on the couch, snoring loudly. The kids are eating dinner prepared by Camille soon they'll have to do homework, shower then go to bed. I wish I can help Aella shower the girls but I don't want to step over any boundaries, I told Camille to help Aella whenever she showers them.
Aella wakes up with a yawn, stretching her arms over her head.
"How long have I been napping?"
"Only about 3 hours." I tell her.
"3 hours? Shit, I have to tell the kids that they're going to have a baby sister soon"
"I've told Luciano, he helped me bring the stuff upstairs and kinda figured out you were expecting."
"Girls!" She yelled. They immediately come running, Isabella has spaghetti sauce smeared all over her mouth.
"Yes Mama?"
"I have good news, Mama's going to have a baby. You're getting a baby sister." They both scream in excitement jumping up and down. Isabella kisses her belly leaving a red stain.
"I can't wait to have a baby sister." Clementine said.
"Papà, how did Mama get a baby in her belly?" Isabella asked, I choke on my spit coughing hysterically. How do I answer that?
"Ask Mama, principessa."
"So Mama?" That girl is too curious for her own good, next she'll probably ask how the baby came out.
"When I kissed Papà we shared germs, his germs went to my belly and now it's a baby." She lamely explained.
"Eww yucky, I'm never going to kiss." Her nose scrunches up in disgust. Luciano just scoffs, probably knowing how babies are actually made.
"Have you guys done your homework?" Aella asked.
They all nod their heads."Do you guys want playtime?"
"Yes." The two minions said.
"Ok, 1 hour of playtime then you have to shower and get ready for bed, ok?"
"Yes Mama." They hurry up the stairs. Camille comes in.
"Camille, could you please shower the girls after their playtime please?"
"Of course, I'd love to, I see them as my nipoti. Since Sofia hasn't given me any yet!" She yelled towards the kitchen.
"I heard you Mamma!" She yelled back.
She heads up the stairs to check on the kids.
"Are you hungry?" I asked. She rubs her belly, hearing a loud grumble.
"I guess you are, Camille made spaghetti but with ground turkey instead of beef so that you can eat it."
"Hmm, that sounds so good." She moaned.
I bring her a plate of spaghetti with a slice of garlic bread. She wiggles on the couch licking her lips, eyeing the plate with predatory eyes.
"Give me." She snatched the plate from my hands and immediately begins stuffing her face. I admire her while she eats, her moans of pleasure, her bright eyes and her spaghetti sauce covered mouth.
Once done eating I wash her plate and put it in the dishwasher. Sitting next to her I rub my palm over our daughter, feeling a little flutter against my hand.
"Did she just kick?" Emotion making my voice rough. She lays her hand against mine and presses harder, I feel her kick again.
"She kicked again."
"She did, right now her kicks are soft but over the next few months you'll see her kicks just from my stomach." I get eye level to her belly pressing my lips against it.
"Ti amo figlia mia." I whisper to her. Aella just runs her hands through my hair.
"I want to have a baby shower." I sit back up
"Yes, anything you want."
"I've never had a baby shower for any of my babies but for this one I want one. We can do a gender reveal for everyone that's coming. I can invite Mom, Melanie, Luca and your Papà."
"Sounds like a plan Amorina. How about in 2 weeks?"
"That sounds great." She said, laying her back on my chest.
