He's the one, mum

"Hello?"

"Hi, mum." Louis' heart was pounding in his chest and his voice was slightly shaky. He hoped it wasn't noticeable.

"Oh, hey darling." Louis swore he could hear her smiling. "Is everything alright?" She softly asked when Louis didn't say anything.

"Yeah everything's fine, I'm good... How are you?"
"I'm feeling alright too, had a busy day but it's nice to hear your voice, as always."

Louis smiled.

"Louis," his mother continued, "is that really why you're calling me?"

Louis sighted. He tried to phone her as often as he could even though he was traveling the world right now and it was hard to find the time when they would both have some free time, so it wasn't something uncommon. And still his mum noticed that something was different today. That Louis had something he wanted to talk about with her.

"No, I- um... Mum, I wanna live with Harry."

Louis only heard a quiet noise and he swore he could hear his mother smile again.

"You and Harry, hm?" she now asked
Louis felt his cheeks growing warm and bit down the nail of his left thumb. Would his mother let him? Would she agree on him and Harry living together in the time they wouldn't be on tour. He was only 18, he never lived with anyone else than his parents and siblings. But Louis just had to try it, he felt like-

"He's the one, mum," he whispered. "I'm so sure he's the one, I swear." Nervously, he started biting on his nails again, waiting for a response.

"Okay," Joana gave in. "I trust you. And if you feel that he's the one then I believe you. I really like Harry and I'm sure you two can do this." Her voice was soft, it was comforting Louis in every kind of way.

"Thank you, mum," Louis uttered, feeling relieved and so happy and excited and-

"I'll come and meet you there whenever I have time. And I'll bring the twins with me." Louis' mother interrupted his thoughts.

"Yes! Do that. It's probably going to be a long way from you, all the way down to London but I'm happy if you could make it. And I'm sure Harry too, he loves them. And he loves you," Louis smiled.

He had to call Harry right after talking to his mum to tell him the great news.
