Despondent

Despair burdened them as they dragged their feet.

The victims had tasted too much defeat.

Tyrants forced them to bruise and bleed.

Courage was stomped out, they would never be freed. 


Rebels could no longer hide. 

Rising up would only be suicide. 

Their purpose was to be used, pawns for the Devil's game.

Bloodshed and cruelty continue, more lives for death to claim.
